Possible Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Nintendo Switch Bundle Revealed

A couple of years ago when Mario Kart 8 was launched, unsurprisingly there was a Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle as well. This means that should Nintendo launch a bundle for the Nintendo Switch, it would hardly come as a surprise. Turns out that’s pretty much what Nintendo did, or at least that’s what they plan to do.

According to a recent post on Reddit (via IGN), it seems that the packaging for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch bundle has been revealed. There’s really nothing to see here since this is just the console bundled with a copy of the game. However what’s notable is the fact that this was spotted on the Russian Nintendo Shop which has since been pulled.

The listing allegedly gives it a release date for the 28th of April which is when the game will be released, so we guess it makes sense for the bundle to be released as well. However given that Nintendo has yet to officially confirm the bundle, there’s a chance that it might be limited to Russia, although we’re hoping that it will be available worldwide.

In any case given how well-received the previous Mario Kart was, there’s a good chance that this version will be even better, especially when you consider the fact that the Switch is portable and how it allows gamers to play Mario Kart with friends while on the go.

‘Monopoly’ Announced For The Nintendo Switch

Board games take up a lot of space and it can get messy, which isn’t so ideal if you’re outside in a public setting like a beach, cafe, park, and so on. However the good news is that if you love board games like Monopoly, it has been announced the the game will be officially making its way onto the Nintendo Switch.

However don’t expect the game anytime soon as it will be released later this fall, so there’s still some waiting to do. That being said, the game will support up to 6 players locally, meaning that only one person needs to own the Nintendo Switch in order for players to play the game. There will also be support for HD Rumble when throwing the dice.

For those unfamiliar, HD Rumble is a feature of the Joy-Con in which it can create vibrations that are so nuanced and subtle that it offers up a very different gaming experience. For example there is a game in the 1-2 Switch title that takes advantage of this feature, so if you’ve experienced it for yourself then it’s something to look forward to in the Switch.

In the meantime if you’re curious as to what Monopoly for the Nintendo Switch will look like, check out the reveal trailer in the video above for the details.

Latest Google Photos Update Adds Video Stabilization

If you have yet to update your Google Photos to the latest version of the app, you probably should, especially if you’re someone who uses the app to backup and store their photos and videos in the cloud. Why is this, you ask? Turns out the latest version of Google Photos will add video stabilization to your videos.

In a recent APK teardown of the latest build of Google Photos, Android Police discovered evidence of video stabilization as being one of the new features of the app. This is further evidenced in a Google Photos album uploaded and shared by Daniel Stone in which there are several videos that compared before and after video stabilization.

From what we can tell, Google Photos has done a pretty decent job of stabilizing these videos. However it does look a little “fake” as you can see in the video above (watch the show of the person recording the video), but since this is applied after the video has been recorded and given that Google Photos is a free app, it’s hard to complain.

It is possible that Google could improve on the feature in the future, but for now it should do a good job of stabilizing your existing videos, assuming that they weren’t too shaky to begin with.

The SwitchCharge Is A Battery Case For Your Nintendo Switch

Despite Nintendo designing the Switch to be portable, the battery life of the console does leave much to be desired. We guess if you’re going out for a short while it isn’t too bad, but for longer trips and if you plan to travel, the Switch’s battery life is probably considered to be one of the console’s main “cons”.

However that might not necessarily be an issue in the future, thanks to an Indiegogo campaign for a Switch accessory called the SwitchCharge. If you check out the video above, you’ll realize that the SwitchCharge is basically a battery case designed for the Switch console. It features a 12,000mAh battery that according to its creators, will extend the console’s battery life to over 12 hours.

It also features a wider kickstand which should help make the console feel more balanced and sturdy when propped up on tables. It has also moved the charging port from the bottom of the console to the back, which means that you could plug it into power and charge the console while playing it at the same time.

As it stands the Indiegogo campaign appears to be a success and they have raised double the original goal of $80,000. The SwitchCharge is currently priced at $85 which is 35% off the RRP so if you order now, you’ll save yourself some money. It is currently planned for a release come August 2017.

Alleged iPhone 8 Schematics ‘Confirms’ Rear-Facing Touch ID

When the Samsung Galaxy S8 was launched, many were questioning Samsung’s decision to put the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone, especially so near the camera. This was a big deal because prior to this, Samsung had kept the fingerprint scanner on the front. A rumor surfaced later which suggested that Apple could follow suit with a rear-facing Touch ID.

As much as we’re hoping the rumors aren’t true, a new schematic has made its way online in which it allegedly shows the design of the iPhone 8, and sure enough like the rumors said, it shows the Touch ID sensor placed smack right in the middle back portion of the phone which looks pretty damn awkward.

Interestingly enough the schematic also shows a redesigned camera in which the lenses are stacked vertically instead of horizontally, which is in line with an earlier crude sketch that made its way online last week. Safe to say you should take this leaked schematic with a huge dose of salt for now since there’s no way of proving that it is the real deal.

However as 9to5Mac points out, the photo shows that this is Apple’s third revision in the Engineering Validation Test, which means that it could be in the very early stages of development which means that things could change moving forwards, so hopefully this won’t be the final product.

OnePlus 5 A5000 Spotted At China’s Radio Regulation Authority

It is probably safe to assume that with the success they’ve been having that OnePlus will most likely launch a new OnePlus handset later this year, presumably in the form of the OnePlus 5. Now thanks to a recent sighting at China’s radio regulation authority, a OnePlus handset bearing the model number A5000 was discovered.

For those who aren’t familiar with the OnePlus model numbers, the OnePlus 3 had the A3000 model number, while the OnePlus 3T had the A3010 model number. Given that this could be the A5000, it makes sense that it would have the A5000 model number. In case you didn’t know, the number “4” is usually regarded as bad luck in Chinese culture which might explain why OnePlus is skipping the OnePlus 4 in favor of the OnePlus 5. It’s also why in some countries you’ll realize why there is no fourth floor, but a “3A”.

That being said, the filing with China’s regulatory body doesn’t reveal much in terms of design or specs. However a recent rumor has suggested that the OnePlus 5 could pack some pretty high-end specs. This includes going up to a whopping 8GB of RAM, the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset, and we could also be seeing OnePlus finally adopt the use of QHD displays, an upgrade over the previous model’s Full HD screen.

Apple tipped to be working on non-invasive glucose monitor

Wearables are great for keeping track of activity and reminding us to stay fit, but they are hardly medical devices. The closest some, but not all, get is having a heart rate monitor or a blood oxygen level sensor. In the very near future, however, at least one wearable might have one more thing: a sugar level monitor. According to … Continue reading

In February, she posted this adorable pic with Jameson (born in late December) and 5-year-old sister Willow.

I think breastfeeding is healthy and natural, and it’s a comfort to my baby, so I can give a shit what somebody else thinks,” she said in 2012 when Willow was 15 months old.

As we see on her Instagram, she’s still walking the walk.
