The debut trailer for EA’s Battlefront II has leaked out a little early, showing that not only will the next game feature units and heroes from the prequel trilogy, but from Force Awakens as well.
In a bid to better understand their customers, users, or visitors to a website, tracking tools are implemented so that websites and services can provide better recommendations, or in some cases provide more targeted ads. No one really enjoys being tracked and if you are a Roku TV owner, this is something you’ll want to take note of.
The company has recently announced (via TechCrunch) that they are rolling out a software update for Roku TV owners in which one of the features will be able to know what you’re watching, and based on that it will be able to make users recommendations on other shows that they might be interested in.
However before you get too alarmed, note that this is an opt-in feature, meaning that you will need to turn this on manually, as opposed to an opt-out situation where the feature is enabled by default and users will have to turn it off. Also it should be pointed out that this only works when you’re watching through a digital antenna or cable box, so it’s not as if Roku has a microphone in your home and is listening to you all the time.
We know that there is a bit of controversy surrounding this kind of tracking, as we have seen in the past where Vizio got into trouble for tracking its customers via their TVs.

Back in March Apple made a surprise announcement when they revealed that they had a new app called “Clips”. Given that Apple doesn’t release new apps all that often or apps of this nature, like we said, we were surprised. The app was then made available for download last week and as it turns out, it has proven to be a hit.
According to a report from TechCrunch, they quote numbers provided by App Annie in which it was revealed that Clips was actually downloaded a million times during its first four days of availability. It also managed to reach number 28 on the App Store at its peak, which many are saying isn’t that impressive given how much coverage and promotion Apple is giving to the app.
It also seems that excitement surrounding the app quickly faded because after peaking at number 28, it slipped to the 39th position on Saturday, before dropping to 40 on Sunday. As it stands it is sitting at number 69 on the Top Charts for free apps, although this still did considerably better than Apple’s previous efforts which was Music Memos. However 1 million downloads is still pretty impressive, especially when you consider that it is more or less an iOS exclusive.

Yesterday it seemed that ahead of schedule, PlayStation France accidentally revealed the upcoming Overwatch event. However for those who are curious about the official details, not to worry as Blizzard has officially taken the wraps off the “Uprising” event for Overwatch which will run from the 11th of April until the 1st of May.
From what we can tell, this is an event in the game that will help provide players with a bit more backstory on Overwatch and some of its characters. The description reads, “Experience a pivotal moment in history from before the fall of Overwatch. Join a strike team of Overwatch agents—including the newest recruit, Tracer—as they undertake a vital mission to stop an omnic uprising in King’s Row. Drop into the action and play as one of the four charged with completing this critical objective.”
Players will be able to claim rewards like Uprising Loot Boxes that will see them stand a chance to unlock new cosmetic skins, highlights, emotes, and sprays themed around Uprising. However like we said, this event will run for the next several weeks so now’s the only time that you’ll be able to earn these rewards.
The event should already be live so all players have to do is log into the game and they’ll be good to go. In the meantime you can also check out the trailer above to get an idea of what to expect.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is here, it’s every bit as crazy as we were lead to believe by the months-long publicity campaign leading up to the 2017 New York International Auto Show. Uber’s top executive for communications has left the beleaguered company, continuing a wave of turnover in the highest ranks.
Rachel Whetstone’s departure as head of communications was announced in an email Tuesday to employees from CEO Travis Kalanick.
In 2015, Whetstone left Google to become the ride-hailing app’s senior vice president of policy and communications.
“I am incredibly proud of the team that we’ve built — and that just as when I left Google, a strong and brilliant woman will be taking my place,” Whetsone said in a statement Tuesday. “I joined Uber because I love the product — and that love is as strong today as it was when I booked my very first ride six years ago.”
Whetstone’s departure comes during a turbulent time for the ride-hailing app, and Recode reported that perhaps she did not want to handle the barrage of bad publicity.
The company is under scrutiny after The New York Times reported that officials deployed software that provided misleading data about rides to government regulators.
And the behavior of Kalanick himself has led to bad publicity for Uber.
“I must fundamentally change as a leader and grow up,” Kalanick wrote after video emerged in February showing the CEO berating an Uber driver.
There have been a series of departures from the ranks of Uber executives in recent months as well. President Jeff Jones resigned last month while another senior vice president was forced out in February over failing to disclose to corporate officials that he had been investigated for sexual harassment while working at Google.

Last June, Georgia pastor Kenneth Adkins made headlines when he tweeted that gay people who died in the Orlando, Florida, nightclub shooting got what they deserved.
He made headlines of a different sort on Monday when he was found guilty of sexually molesting a teenage girl and boy.
A jury of three men and nine women deliberated for about two hours before finding the 57-year-old pastor guilty of three charges of child molestation, three charges of aggravated child molestation, and two charges of enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to FirstCoastNews.com.
Adkins did not react as the verdict was being read aloud in the Glynn County courtroom. He did not testify on his own behalf during the trial, according to ActionNewsJax.com.
Before the clergyman turned himself in last August, he had led congregations in Atlanta and Brunswick, Georgia, as well as in Jacksonville, Florida.
He was originally booked on one charge of child molestation and one charge of aggravated child molestation. At the time of his arrest, Adkins’ lawyer Kenneth Gough told WJCT that those incidents dated back to 2010.
“Warrants say that these events took place in 2010 and that’s a long time,” Gough said. “We don’t know why they’re coming up now.”
Additional charges were filed after the initial arrest, and Adkins has been held without bail since then.
Adkins is scheduled for sentencing on April 25, according to News4Jax. He faces up to life in prison.
“I know he was back there praying,” Gough told the station. “We were disappointed with the verdict, but we respect it. It’s part of our jury system, but we will be filing a notice of appeal, obviously.”
Adkins garnered attention two days after the Orlando shooting when he sent a tweet that read, “Been through so much with these Jacksonville homosexuals that I don’t see none of them as victims. I see them as getting what they deserve!!”
He told The Florida Times-Union that the tweet had nothing to do with the 49 people just massacred in Orlando and was solely a reference to the debate over expanding Jacksonville’s anti-discrimination protections to LGBTQ people. (He opposed that, too.) But the tweet, which has since been made private, followed a string of other tweets about the shooting.
