Light therapy is all over the place in beauty parlors and salons since it can help with smile lines, tighten up your skin, grow hair, reduce inflammation and much more. Normally this sort of treatment is something you would find in a salon that comes with a hefty price attached for a one-time use by a professional. Once you understand how it works though (full comprehension, not just a basic understanding), there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to buy and install a system for yourself.
The Phototherapy Shower Head by Linno Beau will let you kill two birds with one stone, by putting the light therapy technology inside of a shower head so you’ll get squeaky clean while tackling any skin issues you might be facing. There are three modes, which includes the near-infrared LED for smile lines, skin tightening, spots and pores; red LED for small wrinkles, skin lift-up, and black circles; or blue LED for inflammations, acne, secretion control, and regeneration. You only need to replace your shower head and it will start going to work on your skin when you shower.
It has a heat resistance up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, so don’t try to scald yourself, or your light therapy will stop working. There is no mention of batteries, but there is a recommended water volume that most people are probably not going to pay attention to. This will cost you $511, and will hopefully last a long time since the bulbs are not likely to be something you can replace.

Over the years, asteroids have gotten bad rap, probably because of that terrible Michael Bay movie or incessant stream of hyperbolic articles written about them. The truth is, asteroids are just hunks of rock hurdling through space that aren’t actively seeking to destroy the human race. Later this month, one such…

LeEco Gives Up On Vizio Acquisition, Settles For ‘Collaborative Partnership’
Posted in: Today's Chili
LeEco announced in the summer last year that it was going to acquire TV maker Vizio for $2 billion. Reports at that time suggested that the two companies had been negotiating for almost two years before they reached an agreement. Not a lot of progress has been made on the matter since then and LeEco today announced that it’s not going to proceed with the Vizio acquisition.
There have been countless reports recently telling us about the financial troubles that LeEco has been going through. It was believed that this might impact the planned Vizion acquisition as well. The last we heard, the LeEco acquisition of Vizio had been stalled with one of the reasons claimed to be restrictions in China on the movement of capital.
LeEco Global Group Ltd. and VIZIO Inc. today announced that the merger agreement to acquire Vizio is not going to proceed “due to regulatory headwinds.” No mention is made to the reported financial troubles in the official press release.
If further mentions that there exists a great synergy between the two companies and therefore they have decided on a “collaborative partnership” instead.
The partnership will see LeEco and Vizio explore opportunities to incorporate the Le app and content into Vizio’s connected CE platform as well as leverage LeEco’s EUI platform, its exclusive content and distribution channels to bring Vizio’s products to the Chinese market.

Chinese electronics company Xiaomi is known for offering affordable products even if it has to make do with slim margins to offer its products at attractive price points. One such example is the new Mi VR Play 2 virtual reality headset that the company has launched today. It’s a successor of the original Xiaomi Mi VR Play headset and has been priced at just 99 yuan which is around $14.
Not a lot has changed if you compare the original headset and the Mi VR Play 2 but Xiaomi has made a number of improvements that’s going to make quite a bit of difference to those who pick up the headset.
The improvements are focused on comfort. Xiaomi has made the new virtual reality headset out of an improved material so that it’s more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. It also happens to be lighter than its predecessor and strategically placed holes will ensure that it’s better at cooling as well.
This is a great option for those who would like to use an affordable virtual reality headset to watch VR and 360-degree videos without having to spend too much money. Xiaomi is going to start selling the Mi VR Play 2 headset in China from April 19th for 99 yuan or $14.
