We knew it was going to happen. Capcom will be bringing its hugely popular (at least in Japan) action RPG to Nintendo’s hybrid console, although the first title won’t be a completely new iteration. Monster Hunter XX is pitched as an expanded edition…
The phrase “cloak and dagger” is often used to refer to acts of subterfuge and espionage, almost always naughty things. That term is indeed apt for this latest set of exploits on Android that use those tactics to ensnare unwitting users. A set of vulnerabilities rather than a single one, these exploits abuse otherwise useful, even critical, features of the … Continue reading
President Donald Trump’s attendance at the NATO summit in Brussels on Thursday has been given the nature documentary treatment.
“Funny or Die” transformed footage of Trump interacting with other world leaders ― including that push past Montenegro Prime Minister Dusko Markovic ― into a spoof National Geographic-style clip.
“Fearful of seeming inferior, he claws his way to the front of the pack and engages a pair of females,” said the narrator, who later pointed out how Trump switched tactics after being “unable to assert dominance.”
Check it out in the clip above.

The OnePlus 3T is probably the most short-lived non-explosive flagship and probably OnePlus’ most controversial yet. It launched barely half a year after the OnePlus 3 was launched, bearing slightly upgraded hardware and royally pissing of its fans. Now it is making yet another controversial move. While not explicitly saying so, OnePlus has practically revealed that stocks of the OnePlus … Continue reading
Texas Teacher Gives 'Most Likely To Become A Terrorist' Award To 7th Grader
Posted in: Today's ChiliA Texas middle school principal plans to launch an investigation after a 7th-grade student was named “most likely to become a terrorist” in a mock award ceremony
“I was shocked,” Lizeth Villanueva, a 13-year-old student at Anthony Aguirre Junior High in Houston, told Click2Houston. “[The teacher] said, ‘Most likely to become a terrorist,’ and she said my name, and she gave me this.”
Lizeth received the award in an advanced learning program that’s supposed to help kids prepare for college. The teacher, who was not named, told the students the award was supposed to be funny, but Lizeth’s not laughing.
“It was not a joke,” Lizeth was quoted as saying. “I do not feel comfortable with this.”
Principal Eric Lathan released an apology on Twitter for “insensitive and offensive” awards, saying they were distributed after the school’s real awards ceremony had concluded.
“These award statements and ideals are not representative of the Aguirre vision, mission and educational goals for its students,” Lathan wrote. “An investigation will be launched into these events.”
Lizeth’s mother told local CBS station KHOU that the principal apologized in person as well, but said she wants the teacher to face discipline.
“Get fired, at least, or something,” Ena Hernandez said.
“It doesn’t look good at all, especially coming from a teacher, a grown-up woman,” Hernandez said. “It doesn’t look good because everything that’s going on right now.”

Radio host Rush Limbaugh seems to be a very big fan of Greg Gianforte, the Republican candidate accused of “body-slamming” a reporter in Montana the day before he won a special election to a U.S. House seat.
Speaking on his radio show Thursday, Limbaugh repeatedly described how “manly” and “studly” Gianforte must be for his alleged attack on Ben Jacobs, a Guardian reporter who was asking about the health care bill.
“Gianforte, the manly and studly candidate, threw the 125-pound wet dishrag reporter from The Guardian to the ground,” Limbaugh said, according to an online transcript of his show posted on his website.
Limbaugh no doubt relies on a certain amount of sarcasm and irony. However, he was largely critical of Jacobs, whom he dismissed as “pajama boy” and “a classic Never Trumper, anti-Trumpist from the drive-by media.”
The talk-show host did “condemn” the attack, although not without laughing about it at the same time.
“This cannot be accepted. This must be condemned,” he said. “I wonder how many people in Montana are now going to vote for the guy, though?”
Enough to beat his Democratic rival.

MSNBC’s still-Republican — but reconsidering — Joe Scarborough blamed “thuggish” Donald Trump for Montana congressional candidate Greg Gianforte “body slamming” a Guardian reporter after the journalist asked him a question the day before a special election to fill a U.S. House seat. Gianforte, a Republican, won the election late Thursday.
Scarborough said Thursday on “Morning Joe” that the president has essentially encouraged an open season on journalists with his incredibly rude, relentless attacks on the press, and “irresponsibly” fueling anger against reporters in large crowds.
When you see the president calling the press “enemies of the people several times” and “who repeatedly verbally abused reporters, recklessly and irresponsibly in large arenas calling out people’s names … What do we expect?” Scarborough said, adding that people are “clueless” if they think “the thuggish behavior from the president of the United States does not have an impact on people who are trying to emulate him.”
Scarborough insisted Trump isn’t only “thuggish” toward reporters but also toward the First Amendment, toward the courts and to “anyone who dares to challenge his ultimate authority.”
“The fish rots, again, from the head,” Scarborough said. “At what point do Republicans start criticizing Donald Trump for attacking federal judges? At what point do Republicans start criticizing Donald Trump for using a Stalinist trick, calling the press enemies of the people?”

Chris Cornell's Wife, Vicky, Pens Gut-Wrenching Open Letter To 'Sweet Christopher'
Posted in: Today's ChiliDays before family and friends gather in a private service to honor the life of Chris Cornell, the “Soundgarden” frontman’s wife, Vicky, published an open letter to her late husband.
Cornell died last week in a Detroit hotel room after performing a sold-out show with his band. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging. He was 52. A lawyer representing the family told the press that the family is awaiting toxicology reports to determine if the singer’s anti-anxiety medication played a role in the actions the singer took before his death.
In a letter published in Billboard, Vicky Karayiannis wrote to her “sweet Christopher,” apologizing for not being with him the night he died. It read, in part:
“We had the time of our lives in the last decade and I’m sorry, my sweet love, that I did not see what happened to you that night. I’m sorry you were alone, and I know that was not you, my sweet Christopher. Your children know that too, so you can rest in peace.”
Cornell is survived by three children, ages 16, 12 and 11.
Karayiannis’ letter continued, “I’m broken, but I will stand up for you and I will take care of our beautiful babies. I will think of you every minute of every day and I will fight for you.”
The letter was published online after news broke that the star was cremated in Los Angeles on Tuesday. A private funeral for Cornell will take place Friday at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Fans will be able to visit his burial site starting at 3 p.m. PDT Friday during a public memorial.
Head over to Billboard to read the letter in its entirety.
