Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire Has Been Released

Back in March, the folks at Square Enix announced a new game in the form of Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire, which is essentially a spin-off of the Final Fantasy XV title. However back in March the game was only soft launched where it was only available in New Zealand and Australia.

The good news is that if this is a title that you have been looking forward to, Square Enix has recently announced that the game is now available to all users around the world on both iOS and Android devices. The game is free to play but there are in-app purchases, which we guess isn’t that surprising in today’s mobile gaming landscape.

According to Square Enix’s description, “Be the hero of your own Final Fantasy XV adventure in the brand new mobile strategy game Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire! Build your own kingdom, discover powerful magic, and dominate the realm alongside all of your friends! Do you have the courage to fulfill your destiny? Journey through vast kingdoms, gather magical resources, and build the strongest Empire in Final Fantasy history!”

While it will be sort of based on Final Fantasy XV, the gameplay itself is completely different. So far reviews on the app stores seem to be pretty positive, so head on over to the iTunes App Store or Google Play if you’d like to get your hands on it.

The Cast Of Netflix’s ‘Castlevania’ Series Has Been Revealed

Earlier this year it was confirmed that the Castlevania video game franchise would be finding its way onto Netflix as an animated series. We have no idea how the show will turn out, but no doubt that fans of the series will be tuning in to check it out. Recently in a video uploaded by producer Adi Shankar, the cast of the series has since been revealed.

Note that since this is an animated series, these actors will be lending their voice to the characters. This includes Richard Armitage, who for those unfamiliar played the character Thorin in The Hobbit trilogy, who will taking on the role of Trevor Belmont. It will also include James Callis who played Dr. Gaius Baltar in Battlestar Galactica, where he will take on the role as Alucard.

The series will also see Alejandra Reynoso who will voice Sypha Belnades, while Emily Swallow will voice Lisa Tepes. Matt Frewer has also been cast where he will be playing a character known as The Bishop, while Tony Amendola will voice a character known as The Elder. The series will be officially launched on Netflix come 7th of July and if you want a taste of what’s to come, check out the teaser trailer in the video above.
