Bethesda Will Be Bringing ‘Skyrim’ To The PlayStation VR

While Bethesda’s Skyrim might not necessarily be the latest RPG available at the moment, it seems that the developer is milking the heck out of it. The company not only announced a remaster of the game in the form of Skyrim Special Edition, but they’ll also be bringing it onto the Nintendo Switch with brand new controls.

Now it looks like gamers who own the PlayStation VR will be able to experience the game again in a VR setting. Yup, it looks like Bethesda is definitely getting into the spirit of VR as they have announced that they will be bringing Skyrim onto the PlayStation VR, where aside from giving players a different perspective and a different experience, we’re not sure how different it will be from the original.

However it looks like the game will also be taking advantage of the motion controls of the PlayStation VR, so just like in version in the Nintendo Switch, players will be able to control the game in new and different ways. Unfortunately in terms of a release date, Bethesda did not announce when Skyrim for the PlayStation VR will be released so we’ll just have to wait for it.

In addition to Skyrim, Bethesda also announced that they will be bringing Fallout 4 into VR, so like we said, it seems that VR appears to be the focus of Bethesda at E3 this year.

LG Will Reportedly Be Manufacturing The Google Pixel XL 2

It is safe to assume that this year Google will be launching two new Pixel handsets in the form of the Pixel 2 and the Pixel XL 2. As to who will be making these phones remains to be seen, but it has been largely assumed that HTC will be picking up where they left off with the Google Pixels, or will they?

According to a recently spotted bug entry, it seems that there is some evidence to suggest that LG could be the one manufacturing the Google Pixel XL 2, which was referenced in the bug entry as “Taimen” which is in line with what we’ve heard. You might have heard that Google apparently had three devices in the works, but one was reportedly cancelled.

LG has had some experience manufacturing handsets for Google before which resulted in the Nexus 4, the Nexus 5, and the Nexus 5X. It also wouldn’t be the first time that Google uses different companies for different handsets, like they did with the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P, the latter of which was made by Huawei.

In any case it’s just a rumor for now so take it with a grain of salt, but assuming Google doesn’t deviate from their plans, we should expect to hear more about the new Pixel handsets in the coming months.

Galaxy S8, S8+ custom Android ROMs for those who dare to root

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and its larger Galaxy S8+ sibling are arguably two of the best-looking, and best-performing smartphones this half of the year. But as great as they are, they are by no means perfect. Even the Samsung faithful will admit, sometimes begrudgingly, that the Korean OEM can be a wee too “generous” when it comes to the extras, … Continue reading

Elizabeth Warren Says Jeff Sessions Should Be Fired

It’s no secret that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) isn’t a huge fan of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Warren vocally opposed Sessions’ nomination and has continued to speak out against him.

But the Democratic lawmaker took her criticism one step further on Monday, saying that Sessions “needs to be fired” if allegations that that he lied under oath during his confirmation hearings are true.

“He needs to be fired. He needs to be taken out of that job,” she told David Axelrod, who was an adviser to former President Barack Obama, on his podcast. “If you’re not going to be honest during your confirmation hearing, then you ought to be gone.”

The attorney general is accused of lying to the Senate about having conversations with the Russian ambassador last year. In March, he recused himself from the FBI’s investigation of the ties between President Donald Trump’s staffers and the Kremlin but denied he personally had any improper contact with Russia.

The FBI launched its probe after it and the CIA last year concluded that Russia attempted to interfere in the U.S. presidential election to help get Trump elected. Former FBI director James Comey, who Trump fired last month at least partly over the inquiry, testified in front of the Senate last week. Sessions is set to appear before the Senate on Tuesday in a public hearing, where he’s expected to be grilled on Russia.

Capcom Announces New ‘Monster Hunter World’

In case you thought that Monster Hunter XX for the Nintendo Switch would be the only Monster Hunter news we would be able to expect this year, think again. For fans of the franchise, you’ll be pleased to learn that Capcom has announced a new Monster Hunter game in the form of Monster Hunter World.

According to Capcom, “Monster Hunter: World delivers a seamless gameplay experience allowing players to move freely across map areas that comprise the living ecosystems and dynamically transition from day to night. The landscape and its diverse inhabitants play a critical role in each quest as players strategically use the surrounding environment including terrain, vegetation and wildlife to their advantage in battle or become hindered by the hazards they present.”

Capcom is also touting the game’s multiplayer feature where gamers can play together and complete quests. They even point out how this is the first Monster Hunter game that will let players from Japan play with other players around the world, and vice versa. “With flexible online multiplayer options and an accessible quest structure, players can tackle challenges alone or join up to three other hunters online for cooperative play. For the first time in the Monster Hunter series, players from Japan and the west can play together online, providing an expanded base of cooperative hunting companions.”

The game will be released across multiple platforms where it will arrive on the PS4 and Xbox One in early 2018, and it will also find its way onto the PC at a later date.

Blizzard Previews Diablo 3’s Necromancer Armor Set

Blizzard has been teasing the Necromancer class for Diablo 3 for a while now, and we’re sure that many gamers are looking forward to playing it whenever it is released. We’re not sure what’s taking Blizzard so long, but the company is known for taking their time with these sorts of things so it shouldn’t really be that surprising.

That being said, Blizzard has since posted a new update on its Diablo 3 blog in which they have offered up a preview of the various armor sets that will be available to the Necromancer class. According to Blizzard, “As with other classes in the game, the Necromancer will have access to groups of Set Items. Each has a unique theme related to the core concepts that define the class: blood and bone.”

We have to say that the armor sets do look pretty good, and are for the most part in line with the Necromancer look with a lot of blood and bone themed looking armor pieces. We still don’t have a specific date of release for the Necromancer yet, but in case you’re learning about this for the first time, the Necromancer will be released as a DLC pack for the game.

This means that gamers will have to pay extra money if they’d like to play the class, versus other Diablo 3 updates which have been free all this while.
