How To Use Nvidia Share aka ShadowPlay

ShadowPlay by Nvidia has been considered as one among the best applications for recording and broadcasting gameplay. Using ShadowPlay, you can capture priceless in-game moments and share them with your friends instantly. However, with the new GeForce Experience, there has been a complete overhaul of the application. The then ShadowPlay is now referred as, Nvidia Share, and here’s how to use it.

What Is Nvidia Share?

Previously, known as ShadowPlay, Nvidia Share is its spiritual successor, exhibiting a new and intuitive user interface (UI) with more dynamic features. It showcases the very same basic concept of ShadowPlay but with a faster, eye-catchy and efficient approach for streaming/recording. It serves as one among the core utilities of GeForce Experience which has become the central manager for GPU software at NVIDIA. It makes sure that drivers are updated, and that games run with the best settings.

In one of our previous tutorials, we explained how to use GeForce Experience to stream on Twitch and various social media platforms. This tutorial solely focuses on how to use it for recording, and related basic purposes.

What Are The Requirements For The New ShadowPlay?

To use Nvidia Share, your card should be a GeForce 600 series or higher, bearing the ‘GTX’ trademark. Make sure your GeForce Experience is up-to-date (if already installed, just update it from the app). You may refer the official site for the list of supported cards.

How To Record Gameplay Using NVIDIA Share?

Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 May Cost $650

It was confirmed by Samsung a few months back that it’s going to launch a refurbished variant of the Galaxy Note 7 in select markets across the globe. This will enable the company to get rid of the millions of units of the Galaxy Note 7 that are collecting dust in warehouses. According to a new report, the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is going to cost around $650.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed as yet what it’s going to call the refurbished variant of last year’s ill-fated flagship. It hasn’t confirmed in which markets this variant will be sold and how much it’s going to cost.

Reports suggest that the device might be called Galaxy Note FE or “Fan Edition,” and that it’s going to have a big “R” symbol at the back which will signify that it’s a refurbished unit. Other than that, it’s going to have the same design as last year’s flagship. It’s even said to be offered in the same colors as the original Note 7.

The specs will thus be identical to the Galaxy Note 7, which means that the Galaxy Note FE will feature a 5.7 inch Quad HD display with an Exynos 8890 processor and 4GB of RAM. However, it’s believed to come with a smaller 3,200mAh battery.

According to a new report, Samsung is going to sell the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 for 732,000 won in South Korea which is around $650. That’s quite the price to pay for a refurbished variant of the handset that has a reputation of spontaneously combusting.

Pokemon Go Health Benefits Were Temporary

Pokemon Go took the world by storm when it came out last year. The game’s health benefits were touted as well since it got players up on their feet and rewarded them for venturing out to hunt for the little monsters. However, if a new study published in the British Medical Journal is believed, the health benefits of Pokemon Go were shortlived.

The study published in the British Medical Journal found that the popular augmented reality game only had a temporary impact on the health and fitness levels of players.

This study was conducted during a period of six weeks after the game was released in July last year. It covered 1,000 individuals aged between 18 and 35 who played the game religiously after its release.

The results show that the game initially helped players increase their physical activity level dramatically, however, after a couple of weeks had passed, the players were back to the fitness level they were at when they started playing the game.

“So yes, it worked for the first week, but then after a month and a half, people were not walking more or moving more,” explains Jean-Philippe Chaput, a research scientist at the Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Chaput isn’t surprised that Pokemon Go didn’t leave a lasting impact on the players’ health so maybe take those health claims attached to playing this game with a grain of salt.

Aisle View: Stirring Up The Deplorables

Just how do you take some old play—W. Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, the Tony (Antonius) Award winner from 1599, for instance—and give it gut-wrenching relevance in Central Park circa today? Oskar Eustis goes for the jugular by surrounding his small-handed Caesar with thugs, handlers, and a trophy wife with an Eastern European accent. Obvious, perhaps, but instantly effective; what we get is a gripping tale of power-lust, murder and anarchy in the Capitol. Two-thirds of which might seem awfully familiar to those who read the morning papers (a.k.a. the “fake” morning papers).

The immediate result is that these olden characters from ancient Rome—Brutus, Cassius, Antony et al—seem to be of our time, speaking directly to us. None of this clambering about in togas; everybody is contemporary, with the members of the mob (commoners, as Shakespeare called them) indistinguishable from the members of the free admission Public audience.

Eustis—the Public Theater artistic director, as well as stage director of this production—heightens the effect by building the production on contemporary performances from strong stage performers. Corey Stoll—of the Public’s recent Plenty, and widely familiar for his performance as disgraced congressman Peter Russo in the first season of “House of Cards”—makes a noble and conflicted Brutus. John Douglas Thompson, a Tony-nominee for January’s Jitney, commands the stage as Cassius, while Teagle F. Bougere adds power as Casca. Most arresting of the group is Elizabeth Marvel as Marc Antony (here played and referred to as a woman, which doesn’t quite make sense in context.) Even so, Marvel—who has five Public Theater credits, and is a cable celebrity thanks to her role as President-elect Elizabeth Keane in last season’s “Homeland”—brings rabble-rousing power to the role.

The relatively unknown Gregg Henry makes a strong impression as the buffoonish president. That is, as Mr. Caesar, until he gets fileted in the Senate. (He is actually stripped naked at one point—in a rather humorous and fitting Emperor’s New Clothes tableaux—and one can only imagine he must get awfully cold up there some nights.) Tina Benko gets laughs as the model-spouse, Calpurnia, while Nikki M. James (of The Book of Mormon) offers support as Portia, wife to Brutus.

Eustis peoples the vast Delacorte stage—designed by David Rockwell as if ancient Rome was located midway between DC and Occupy Wall Street—with a veritable mob. While the cast lists twenty-six players, an informal count suggests that there are enough extras around to swell the number close to fifty.

The notion of a modern-themed Julius Caesar is not novel, exactly; Orson Welles set Broadway spinning with his Mussolini-flavored performance in the 1937 anti-fascist, Mercury Theatre production. The current Trumpian version is attention getting, certainly, and enhances the drama. The real-to-life links go astray, methinks, once the title character meets his fate on the Ides of March and cedes the spotlight for most of the rest of the evening. But when Cassius asks, “How many ages hence shall this our lofty scene be acted over in states unborn and accents yet unknown?” we can only answer that we know one such age all too well.

Familiar Shakespearean quotes abound in Julius Caesar, and Mr. Eustis pointedly mentions—in his program notes—that “we didn’t write any new lines, it’s all Shakespeare.” Although there is indeed a joke (?) about Caesar getting away with it if he stabbed his mother on Fifth Avenue. Which doesn’t quite sound like the authentical Bard, but we do seem to have heard something of the sort elsewhere. Maybe it’s from Christopher Marlowe?

The Public Theater production of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar opened May 23, 2017 and continues through June 18 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park

Jennifer Lawrence OK After Jet Engines Fail In Emergency Landing

Jennifer Lawrence had a terrifying moment when her private plane made an emergency landing in Buffalo, New York, Saturday after two engines failed, a rep for the Oscar-winning actress told Entertainment Tonight.

The mid-flight scare unfolded at 31,000 feet after the “Silver Linings Playbook” star had departed her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. That’s when one of the plane’s engines gave out, ET noted. During the actual landing, the plane’s second engine failed as well.

The 26-year-old Lawrence was uninjured.

A spokeswoman for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority told the Buffalo News that the jet was en route to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey when it was diverted to Buffalo Niagara International Airport at 1:15 p.m. because of the suspected engine failure.

The aircraft containing two crew members, Lawrence and another passenger landed safely while emergency vehicles stood by, according to outlets.

<a href="” target=”_blank”>The FAA is investigating the incident, CBS News noted.

Ivanka Trump Incorrectly Names Judaism As 1 Of The 3 'Largest World Religions'

function onPlayerReadyVidible(e){‘undefined’!=typeof HPTrack&&HPTrack.Vid.Vidible_track(e)}!function(e,i){if(e.vdb_Player){if(‘object’==typeof commercial_video){var a=”,o=’m.fwsitesection=’+commercial_video.site_and_category;if(a+=o,commercial_video[‘package’]){var c=’&m.fwkeyvalues=sponsorship%3D’+commercial_video[‘package’];a+=c}e.setAttribute(‘vdb_params’,a)}i(e.vdb_Player)}else{var t=arguments.callee;setTimeout(function(){t(e,i)},0)}}(document.getElementById(‘vidible_1’),onPlayerReadyVidible);

Ivanka Trump, daughter and adviser to President Donald Trump, incorrectly named Judaism as one of the three largest world religions Monday while recalling the president’s recent overseas trip.

The father and daughter, along with several other members of their family and of the administration, met with religious leaders of Islam, Judaism and Christianity in Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Vatican last month during a weeklong excursion abroad.

“To have covered the three largest world religions over the course of four days, it was deeply meaningful,” Trump said during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Monday.

Trump ― who converted to Judaism before marrying her husband, Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew, in 2009 ― erased the followers of several major religions in her statement.

Christianity and Islam are indeed the two largest world religions with nearly 4 billion followers combined. But with roughly 14 million followers, Judaism trails way behind Hinduism (over 1 billion followers), Buddhism (nearly 500 million followers) and other faiths such as Taoism, Shintoism and Sikhism.

“It was beyond special,” Trump said Monday about the trip. “For each of these moments, it’s hard to find the words to adequately describe them.”

Or accurately, for that matter.

Puerto Rico Votes In Favor Of U.S. Statehood Amid Low Turnout

By Tracy Rucinski

SAN JUAN (Reuters) – The economically struggling U.S. island territory of Puerto Rico voted overwhelmingly on Sunday in favor of becoming the 51st state, although turnout was low and adding another star to the U.S. flag likely faces an uphill battle in Congress.

A government website for the non-binding referendum, Puerto Rico’s fifth such plebiscite since 1967, showed 97 percent supported statehood. Only 23 percent of the 2.2 million eligible voters participated in the vote.

Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello campaigned for statehood as the best avenue to boost future growth for the island, which has $70 billion in debt, a 45 percent poverty rate, woefully underperforming schools and near-insolvent pension and health systems.

“From today going forward, the Federal government will no longer be able to ignore the voice of the majority of the American citizens in Puerto Rico,” Rossello said in a statement.

“It would be highly contradictory for Washington to demand democracy in other parts of the world, and NOT respond to the legitimate right to self-determination that was exercised today in the American territory of Puerto Rico,” he added.

Puerto Rico’s hazy political status, dating back to its 1898 acquisition by the United States from Spain, has contributed to the economic crisis that pushed it last month into the biggest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history.

“I voted for statehood,” Armando Abreu, a 74-year-old retiree, said after voting. “Even if it’s still a long way off in the distance, it’s our only hope.”

Those in favor of statehood for the mainly Spanish-speaking Caribbean island hope the new status would put the territory on equal standing with the 50 U.S. states, giving them more access to federal funds and the right to vote for U.S. president.

Under the current system, Puerto Rico’s 3.5 million American citizens do not pay federal taxes, vote in presidential elections or receive proportionate federal funding on programs like the Medicaid health insurance system for the poor. The U.S. government oversees policy and financial areas such as infrastructure, defense and trade.

Rossello will ask Congress to respect the result, but Puerto Rico is seen as a low priority in Washington.

‘BOGUS PLEBISCITE’

The island’s two main opposition parties boycotted the vote, which gave Puerto Ricans three options: becoming a U.S. state; remaining a territory; or becoming an independent nation, with or without some continuing political association with the United States.

Puerto Rico’s former governor, Rafael Hernandez Colon, said in a statement: “A contrived plebiscite fabricated an artificial majority for statehood by disenfranchising hundreds of thousands of Commonwealth supporters.”

Rather than heading to the polls, some 500 Puerto Ricans marched on the streets of San Juan, waving Puerto Rico’s flag and burning the American flag while chanting in support of independence.

“This is a bogus plebiscite. Our future is independence. We need to be able to decide our own fate,” said Liliana Laboy, one of the organizers of the protest.

Boycotters were also angry about the costly referendum at a time when over 400 schools have closed and many Puerto Ricans are struggling to make ends meet. Schools where voting took place were in poor condition, with cracked paint and bare-bones playgrounds.

Puerto Rico spent an estimated $8 million on the campaign and election process, according to a government spokesman.

ABC Suspends Production Of 'Bachelor In Paradise' Over 'Allegations Of Misconduct'

function onPlayerReadyVidible(e){‘undefined’!=typeof HPTrack&&HPTrack.Vid.Vidible_track(e)}!function(e,i){if(e.vdb_Player){if(‘object’==typeof commercial_video){var a=”,o=’m.fwsitesection=’+commercial_video.site_and_category;if(a+=o,commercial_video[‘package’]){var c=’&m.fwkeyvalues=sponsorship%3D’+commercial_video[‘package’];a+=c}e.setAttribute(‘vdb_params’,a)}i(e.vdb_Player)}else{var t=arguments.callee;setTimeout(function(){t(e,i)},0)}}(document.getElementById(‘vidible_1’),onPlayerReadyVidible);

After only a week of filming, ABC has decided to suspend production of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 4 in Sayulita, Mexico, as the company investigates “allegations of misconduct.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. released a statement on the incident, saying:

We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of “Bachelor in Paradise” in Mexico. We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.

The show, which brings together contestants from previous seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” to provide them with another shot at finding love, was slated for an Aug. 8 premiere. Now, it seems the series might not air at all.

TMZ reports that the situation allegedly involved contestants DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios, who were both well-known personalities from their respective appearances in the “Bachelor” franchise. The two were reportedly involved in some inappropriate, sexual activities in a swimming pool, according to sources who spoke with Jackson and TMZ. Still, there are varying accounts of what actually happened, which is why Warner Bros. launched a full investigation into the situation and sent the rest of the cast back to the U.S.

Reality Steve (Steve Carbone), a blogger known for his “Bachelor” spoilers, posted a photo of the cast at the Puerto Vallarta airport on Sunday, writing on Twitter that they were apparently being flown to Houston. Jackson and Olympios are not pictured in the group photo.

The new season was set to feature Bachelor Nation favorites, including Raven Gates, Amanda Stanton, Alexis Waters, Taylor Nolan, Robby Hayes, Ben Zorn, Jasmine Goode, Vinny Ventiera and Alex Woytkiw.

HuffPost has reached out to ABC, as well as Jackson and Olympios, for an update on the suspension and situation.

Biographer On 'Lying' Donald Trump: He Tried To Intimidate Me With Tapes, Too

Biographer Timothy O’Brien knows exactly what booted FBI Director James Comey is going through. Like Comey, O’Brien was accused of lying by Donald Trump — and Trump threatened to reveal tapes of the conversations. But the litigious real estate developer eventually admitted in a deposition that he was the one who had misrepresented the truth 30 times — and acknowledged that he had no tapes.

Trump sued O’Brien in 2005 for $5 billion over his book TrumpNation: The Art of Being The Donald. But Trump lost the case, and ended up admitting to a litany of lies at his 2007 deposition.

Trump has often said over the year to reporters, “I just want to let you know I’m taping you right now,’” O’Brien, formerly of HuffPost and now executive editor at Bloomberg View, said Sunday on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” He also “said it multiple times during my interviews with him.”

When Trump finally admitted there were no tapes, O’Brien said his attorney asked him why he had lied. “He essentially said: ‘I wanted to intimidate him,’” O’Brien recalled.

“His loose association or relationship with the truth becomes problematic for him when he’s confronted with documents that are contrary to things that he’s said … on a wide range of issues,” O’Brien said. The deposition revealed Trump had misrepresented how much money he got for speaking fees, how briskly his condos were selling, how much money he borrowed from the family estate when he was in financial trouble, and several other points, said O’Brien.

The Washington Post examined Trump’s responses in the deposition in a detailed story last year, listing every one of his lies and highlighting some particularly interesting statements. Trump was asked at one point: “Have you ever not been truthful” about your net worth? “My net worth fluctuates, and it goes up and down with markets and attitudes and with feelings, even my own feelings, but I try,” he responded.

The lawyer attempted to clarify: “You said that your net worth goes up and down based upon your own feelings?”

“Yes, even my own feelings, as to where the world is going, and that can change rapidly from day to day,” Trump answered.

At another point Trump said he estimates the value of his golf properties based on “mental projections,” O’Brien recalled.

“We’ve had decades now of Trump frequently lying or exaggerating about a wide range of things,” O’Brien said. “If he can’t be straight with the American people about just bare-bones, verifiable facts, we’re in a very difficult place.”

As for Trump saying last week that he is “100 percent” willing to testify under oath to Special Counsel Robert Mueller about his conversations with Comey, O’Brien said, “I have to imagine every lawyer in the White House’s eyes rolled back in their skull.”
