It is safe to say that many are anticipating the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which last we heard, could be unveiled at IFA 2017 later this year. This is because following the snafu of the Galaxy Note 7 last year, many are curious to see if Samsung will be able to achieve a successful Note launch for 2017.
That being said, the rumors surrounding the Note 8 are plenty but thanks to images posted onto Slashleaks, alleged schematics of the phone are now showing off additional details. For starters in the image above and to the left, it shows off the back part of the phone where it appears that the Note 8 will be packing dual cameras and also what appears to be dual flash units.
There is a circular cutout below the cameras which we can’t be sure what it is, but it looks like it could be a fingerprint sensor. This is in line with an earlier rumor that suggested that Samsung still cannot get the embedded sensor to work, and could be resorting to an external sensor like with the Galaxy S8, although this placement does look a lot better than that of the Galaxy S8.
Other than that, the schematics on the right of the image shows what appears to be the top and bottom of the phone, where it appears that the Note 8 could adopt USB-C connectivity and will have speakers on the top and bottom, but since these schematics cannot be verified, do take it with a grain of salt for now.

When Andy Rubin officially announced the Essential Phone, there was a question with regards to availability. Given that this is essentially a new player in the market of smartphones, it would be hard to predict where the phone might end up, although major carriers in the US did pretty much confirm that they would support the phone in some capacity.
However if you’re looking for full support, it looks like you’ll have no choice but to go with Sprint. In a report from USA Today, it has been confirmed the Sprint will be the exclusive carrier for the Essential Phone. Speaking to USA Today, Essential President Niccolo de Masi confirmed that Sprint would be their exclusive carrier partner to carry the handset.
As to why they chose Sprint, de Masi was quoted as saying, “We like to bet with where we think the market is going as opposed to where the market was. I feel like we are a new brand and a new consumer electronics company and we are partnering with the network of the future.” He also points towards the fact that Rubin has a close relationship with SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son (whose company owns 83% of Sprint), and how Rubin also serves as an advisor to the SoftBank Vision Fund.
In terms of pricing, it is unclear how much the handset would cost when released on Sprint, assuming there will be some kind installment plan offered. However the handset itself is priced at $699 where it will be unlocked and where like we said earlier, is also usable on the networks of other carriers.

If you’re someone who edits their photos on the go, then apps such as VSCO might be familiar to you. You might also be familiar with the fact that VSCO is also available for the desktop in the form of presets that photographers will be able to purchase for use with the likes of Adobe Lightroom and Camera Raw.
However the “problem” is what is available on the desktop is different from that on mobile, which in a way makes sense since VSCO probably wants a clearer distinction, but for photographers who would love to use VSCO’s mobile filters on the desktop, you’re in luck as VSCO has officially announced a new set of presets in the form of the VSCO Mobile Presets 01 (MP1).
These presets will work with Adobe image editing programs such as Adobe Lightroom CC, 6, 5 and 4 or Adobe Camera Raw for Photoshop CS6, and CC. According to the company, “A diverse range of 58 beautiful presets, MP1 was designed to help you easily mimic the looks celebrated on VSCO’s mobile app when editing images on desktop. These presets are ideal for lifestyle photography, portraiture, landscapes and everything in between.”
The preset will cost $59 and you will be able to purchase it directly from VSCO’s online store.

Some wedding crashers draw more attention than others.
President Donald Trump popped in on the Saturday night reception of newlyweds Kristen Piatkowski and Tucker Gladhill at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster Township, New Jersey, CNN reported.
In a guest’s video obtained by CNN and shared by political producer Ashley Killough, the president can be seen noting the “beautiful bride” and then kissing her on the cheek.
Partygoers enthusiastically welcomed him with yells of “looking good, Donald!” and “keep it up!” Then they broke into a group chant of “USA! USA!” as he left.
He also danced with the bride and groom, the New York Post reported, citing a guest.
A source told CNN that guests were not aware that Trump, who spent the weekend in New Jersey, was going to visit until Secret Service agents entered the room minutes beforehand. The president asked for the names of the newlyweds and later signed “Make America Great Again” hats for guests.
The president has done this kind of thing before. In February, he and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe dropped in on a wedding at the U.S. leader’s Mar-a-Lago resort. Outlets also noted that a discontinued brochure for the Trump National Golf Club once boasted that Trump might stop by at weddings.

After playing with the new iPad Pro 10.5″ for a few days I am convinced that it’s fairly impossible to do a detailed review of it in its current state. Not because there is some sort of flaw, but instead because it was clearly designed too to bottom as an empty vessel in which to pour iOS 11. Read More
