Millennials Get Their Very Own Airline From Air France

Air France has decided that millennials are worthy of having their own airline which is why it has decided to launch Joon, a new airline which the company says is aimed at millennial travelers. Joon will take to the skies in September this year. Air France’s press release says that the new airline is going to be “aimed at a young working clientele, the millennials (18 to 35 year-olds), whose lifestyles revolve around digital technology.”

Air France is promising an “innovative” travel experience for those who choose to fly with Joon. How it’s going to do that, though, remains a mystery at this point in time. That’s because the press release doesn’t really provide any information about the in-flight services that will be geared towards a generation that thrives on digital connectivity.

The airline did release images of the crew’s uniforms that appear to be very trendy and Instagrammable. Don’t think that Joon is going to be a low-cost airline. The press release confirms that Joon isn’t going to be a low-cost airline as it’s going to offer original products and services that reflect those of Air France.

Joon has also been described as a “lifestyle brand and a state of mind” for some reason, it’s going to be “short, punchy, and international.”

The fleet will be made up of Airbus A320, Airbus A340, and Airbus A350 so the millennial crowd will really be able to travel long distances with Joon. More information about routes and fares will be provided once Joon takes to the skies in September.

How To Remove or Prevent Ransomware For Free

Ransomware is a type of malware that locks your files (or blocks access to them) and threatens to wipe them or publish them online until the ransom is paid. It was not a trending thing a few years back (though it was still dangerous). However, now, even the novice virus writers have access to powerful and effective ransomware-making tools and code.

If more people know how to create them, there are more chances of ransomware attacks. For the same reason, WannaCry caused a lot of chaos. In this article, we will look at a few methods by which you can try to remove or prevent ransomware, without paying.

  1. Backup Your Files & Ensure Privacy
    computer backup

People tend to pay the ransom because they fear of losing their important files and documents. So, why not just have a backup? According to what you prefer, you can perform a cloud backup or clone your files to an external storage drive.

In case you need to store some very important documents, I will recommend you to have a copy of it on a secure cloud storage drive (like Google Drive & Dropbox). The reason – when you plug in your external storage drive, it might become a victim to the ransomware as well.

If there’s a lot of stuff to backup, you should utilize a backup tool like AOMEI Backupper. It is probably the best you can find out there. Keep in mind that a “copy” is great, but is not a real backup. Backups should keep multiple version of the same file, in case a corruption goes unseen for days or weeks.

  2. Try An Antivirus Solution Tailored For Ransomware Protection

If you want to have the best security on board, you should focus on getting one of the best AV software tools meant to provide the best defense against ransomware attacks.

    avira free antivirus

You would want something that has behavior-based detection ability, could prevent file modification, and prevent file access. All things considered, we would recommend you to try IObit Malware fighter PRO, Bitdefender Antivirus (Total Security / Antivirus Plus), Avira Free Antivirus, or the Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta (which seems promising but still for testing purposes).

  3. If Affected, Remove the Ransomware!

Yes, you can remove the ransomware without even paying a penny. It might not be the case for every type of ransomware but for most of the cases, you can try removing it.

Even if you have successfully removed the ransomware, there is always a risk to lose the files. So, make sure you have a backup always (it helps no matter what!).

The most common way to remove the ransomware is by performing a system restore in Windows. If that does not work, you can utilize the rescue CD from Bitdefender (running virus scanner from a bootable drive).

  4. Hire A Security Researcher

It is not technically a solution! But, if nothing works and you are working in a big production environment, experimenting on your own could cost you a lot!

So, better hire a security researcher who would be able to decrypt the files (if encrypted) and rescue your PC from the ransomware without paying the ransom. To be fair, it would be extremely tough to decrypt data, because encryption is designed exactly to prevent the smartest people in the world to decrypt something (in a short time) unless they have the key. It is possible to force your way in , but it usually requires time and computing power only available to governments.

Wrapping Up

In a nutshell, it is indeed possible to recover your system from a ransomware attack without paying. However, you need to ensure the best practices for backing up your system and maintaining the perfect security possible from your end.

If you are a user with a system backup and a great security setup, there are fewer chances of your system getting affected by a ransomware in the first place. Updating the operating system frequently is also one of the best way to prevent Ransomware because high-profile cases often show that old vulnerabilities are exploited.

Have you been affected by a ransomware? Is yes, how did you rescue your files? Did you pay the ransom?

Marvel’s The Defenders Gets A New Trailer

We know that Marvel and Netflix have worked on a bunch of TV series, and the next one that they plan on releasing will be The Defenders, which is basically a team up of superheroes from the previous series that have been released to date. We saw a trailer released not too long ago, but now a new one has been released.

The latest trailer was released over the weekend during the San Diego Comic-Con. It shows us what we can expect from the series, in which Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist join forces to fight a new bad guy. It will also see the return of various characters from the series, as well as a character previously thought to be dead – Elektra.

The series will be launched on the 18th of August and in Netflix style, it will be released all at once, so you can binge-watch it over the weekend if you choose. Following the release of The Defenders, there will be other Marvel TV shows on Netflix that will be launched, such as The Punisher spin-off, as well as new seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, which was only recently confirmed for a second season.

So if you’re a fan of the series that have been released so far, then it looks like the next few years will be pretty packed.

Spider-Man Joins Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite’s Roster

For fans of mashup fighting games, you’re probably aware that last year Capcom announced Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite, the latest installment in the Marvel VS Capcom franchise. It seems that the entire roster of the game has yet to be revealed because it has since been announced that Spider-Man and Frank West have been added to the game.

This is in line with an earlier rumor/leak in which the entire roster of the game was revealed. The leak revealed the Spider-Man was one of the characters, and that on the Capcom side there was an unknown character, which at that time was speculated to be Dead Rising’s Frank West. The latest announcement pretty much confirms it, which means that there is a chance the rest of the leaked roster could be true too.

The game is currently set for a release later this year, or the 19th of September to be specific. At the moment seems to be only available for the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC. There was no mention of the Nintendo Switch so maybe Switch gamers probably shouldn’t hold their breath. Also as gamers might have noticed, this year’s Marvel VS Capcom title does not feature any X-Men.

This is something that the game’s producers have covered before, which in part has to do with the fact that the Marvel cinematic universe is more “popular” these days.

Bungie Working To Address Player Concerns In Destiny 2 Beta

The thing about betas is that they aren’t the finished product, which means that there are kinks that need to be worked out, and bugs that need to be fixed. However for the most part, betas usually give users an idea of where the developer is headed at with their software, and for players of Destiny 2, they aren’t too thrilled.

It seems that quite a few players who took part in the recent open beta of the game weren’t too happy with the PvE direction of Destiny 2. Many of the complaints were about how gamers felt that in PvE, they felt rather underpowered, which is clearly not a fun experience, but the good news is that Bungie has heard gamers loud and clear and will be working towards fixing that.

In a post on Bungie’s website, the developers were quick to point out that the beta version that gamers were playing was an old one, and that the team has already made some pretty big changes that players will see upon the release of the full game. “The PVE game tuning has changed pretty significantly since the Beta build was deployed. The nature of a Beta of this scale requires that it’s based off a build of the game that is now months old. So, in many cases, your feedback is helping us validate changes that were previously made based on internal feedback and playtesting.”

We’re sure that those who pre-purchased the game might be a bit nervous after playing through the beta, and for those who didn’t pre-purchase the game, they might be feeling that they made a good choice, but hopefully Bungie has indeed addressed many of the player concerns and that the final game will be much better.
