The bankruptcy and sudden closure of the bridal chain has left many brides-to-be stranded without a dress.

Sending sexually explicit messages doesn’t always feel good.
You might have an image of outer space as being this vast, empty, and silent vacuum, and, to some extent, you’d be correct. But with the right instruments, you’d discover how much of a noisy party space really is. Radio waves of all kinds travel the vastness of space, taking ages even when traveling at the speed of light. And … Continue reading
In the past, you needed a rolling suit case or at least a backpack to carry some professional photography equipment. And that didn’t even include the camera yet. These days, however, you can get nearly the same results from just a smartphone and a few accessories. Especially if said accessories come from this photography kit for the iPhone 7 and … Continue reading
Hey, good morning! You look fabulous.
Whether in real life or Blade Runner, we have some weird robot news for you. Oh, and there’s Atari’s new box.
Earlier this month it was reported that the US government was beginning to lift the ban on laptops being brought onto flights to the US from Middle Eastern countries. The first was flights originating out of Abu Dhabi, and now it looks like the ban is being lifted for more Middle Eastern airlines.
In a report from Reuters, the TSA has confirmed that they are lifting a ban on laptops for passengers flying to the US on Saudi Arabian Airlines. This does not mean that the ban is completely over, but rather just like the earlier report, it seems that the airlines have met a certain security standard in which the TSA feels that it would be safe to allow laptops on board planes again.
For those hearing about this for the first time, earlier this year the US imposed a ban on laptops and personal electronic devices larger than a smartphone from being brought onto planes headed to the US. This was due to security concerns that there could be a plot to smuggle a bomb onto planes where the explosives would be disguised as laptop/tablet batteries, a method which we have heard about in the past.
Like we said, the unbanning does not necessarily signify that the threat has passed, but rather with more stringent security measures in place, perhaps the US government is confident that it will be enough to stop any potential threats.

These days Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are pretty much the default social media, and we expect that given how big these platforms are, it will be a while before we see them dethroned. However back in the day, MySpace was the king, or at least it was one of the more dominant platforms available at that time.
This means that there is a good chance that you might have actually used it, and if you did own a MySpace account that you haven’t deleted yet, it seems that it is apparently pretty easy to steal. According to security expert Leigh-Anne Galloway (via Engadget), it seems that one could easily commandeer a MySpace account as long as they know your real name, user name, and birthday.
Galloway claims to have reached out to MySpace about this security issue back in April but has not received a response, but it seems that they did something about it anyway. According to a statement MySpace has since issued to Engadget, “In response to some recent concerns raised regarding Myspace user account reactivation, we have enhanced our process by adding an additional verification step to avoid improper access. We take data security very seriously at Myspace. We plan to continue to refine and improve this process over time.”
We’re not sure what the changes are, but either way if you do have an old MySpace account, perhaps it’s best to login to check that nothing has been compromised.

With Apple choosing to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack on the iPhone 7 (and presumably future models), this means that users need to start looking for wireless headphones, or headphones with a Lightning connector, which admittedly are few and far in-between compared to “regular” models.
Now Pioneer is a company that makes headphones with the Lightning connector, such as with the Rayz series of earbuds. Now if you were considering the earbuds, you might be interested to learn that Pioneer has recently issued an update for the headphones in which the Rayz and Rayz Plus headphones will now support the “Hey Siri” command.
The headphones themselves will stay the same, but now with the Hey Siri command supported, users will be able to use their voice to make calls, send messages, control music playback, and more, all without having to touch their phone or reach for the headphone’s inline controls. The update will also introduce an AutoPause feature that will pause music when they are taken out of the wearer’s ears, and resumed when they are put back in.
There is also a SmartMute feature that will mute the headphones when you stop speaking, and will automatically unmute when you start speaking again. For more details about the Rayz headphones, head on over to Pioneer’s website.

Ordering from Subway around the world is pretty much the same process, where you stand in a queue and when it’s your turn, you tell the person behind the counter what you’re after, what bread you want, what kind of vegetables and sauces you want, and so on. However it seems that Subway wants to modernize the ordering process.
The company has recently announced that they will be introducing what they are calling the “Subway Fresh Forward” design, which is basically a redesigning of the Subway stores where they will introduce self-service kiosks, where customers can order their sandwiches via a digital menu and maybe payments using mobile options such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.
There will also be an option for customers to pre-order their food, meaning that if they’re short on time they can place an order before arriving and pick it up when they reach. According to Trevor Haynes, Vice President of Operations at Subway, “We’ve created a modern design that gives our guests choices – from how they order, to how they pick up their food, to how they enjoy their meal. The reactions from our guests, our franchisees and the Sandwich Artists has been incredibly positive.”
The new Subway dining experience won’t be available everywhere yet, with 12 pilot locations spread out through the US, Canada, and the UK, presumably with more to follow should this prove to be successful.
