Cat Beard Shirt is Perfect for People Who Hate the Itch

I’m not a fan of facial hair, cats, or anything else scratchy. I eschew beards for more than a few days because I’m not going to be itchy for the sake of style. I also don’t like cats, because they are complete dicks. Not that I haven’t had cats in my life, but they make me itch and will scratch you for literally any reason.

As close as I care to come to owning a cat or beard these days is the this Cat Beard T-Shirt.

It’s just what it sounds like – a shirt that has a beard printed on it, with a cat sticking out of the hair. It’s a grey cat and beard, not because you are old, but because black cats are bad luck you know. Simply pull the shirt up and look like you have a massive lumberjack beard.

The cat beard shirt is $19.99(USD) at ThinkGeek, and should be pretty comfy to wear since it’s cotton and not made from actual cat hair or beard hair. This might be the perfect shirt for people with a hormone disorder.

LG G6 Fails To Turn Things Around For LG

LG has been making good flagship smartphones for the past couple of years but they don’t appear to be capturing customers’ attention, or their wallets, at least not as much as LG would have hoped. The LG G6 was launched earlier this year and while it’s a bona fide flagship smartphone, it hasn’t done much to turn things around for LG’s mobile division.

LG Electronics posted its earnings result for the second quarter of this year today. The company itself says that this was a “challenging” quarter for the mobile division which wasn’t able to turn a profit. LG’s mobile division posted a $117.27 million operating loss in Q2 2017.

LG blames high component prices for the loss and also mentions that the sales of its flagship smartphone have been lower than expected which is why it hasn’t been able to turn a profit.

While LG smartphones appear to be gaining traction in the United States, customers seem to focus their attention on more affordable options from the company.

LG saw its smartphone sales in the United States increase 13 percent year over year but the company says that this is due to the robust performance of its “mass-tier lineup,” which basically means the low-end and mid-range handsets are selling well, the flagships not so much.

LG will be hoping to turn things around with the V30, its second flagship for the year, that’s due this September.

Apple Discontinues iPod Nano And iPod Shuffle

It’s the end of an era for iPod lovers. Apple has decided to discontinue the only two iPods in its lineup that did not feature internet connectivity. The company has confirmed that it’s no longer going to sell the iPod nano and iPod shuffle starting today. The webpages for both products have been taken down from Apple’s website.

It was only a matter of time before Apple took this decision seeing as how the iPod shuffle hasn’t been updated since 2010 and the iPod nano received its last update back in 2012. It was clear that Apple felt no need to keep these products around any longer.

A spokesperson for the company confirmed to The Verge that Apple is discontinuing the iPod shuffle and iPod nano. Apple has never shied away from stating the fact that its modern iOS devices like the iPhone and iPod touch would end up cannibalizing the traditional music players.

Apple previously discontinued the iPod classic back in 2014 and now the iPod nano and iPod shuffle have met the same fate.

Those who really want to buy one just to have a piece of Apple history with them will be able to purchase an iPod shuffle and iPod nano from authorized retailers like Best Buy, as long as they have them in stock.
