Samsung Said To Be Working On Two New 10nm Exynos Processors

The Exynos 8895 is Samsung’s first 10nm processor. The company debuted it with the Galaxy S8 and it powers some variants of the flagship smartphone. If a new report is to be believed, Samsung is working two new Exynos processors that will use the 10nm FinFET fabrication technology. The report suggests that the two new processors – Exynos 7885 and Exynos 9610 – will be developed for Samsung’s mobile devices.

If the report is to be believed, Samsung’s Exynos 7885 processor will be built on the 10nm FinFET process with two ARM Cortex-A73 CPU cores clocked at 2.1GHz and four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores.

The chip is also said to feature an integrated LTE radio and a Mali-G71 graphics processor. The report is a little light on the details concerning the graphics processor. Samsung might introduce this processor with the Galaxy A7 (2018) next year.

The second chip, Exynos 9610, will be a more premium offering also build on the 10nm FinFET technology with a 64 bit octacore CPU. It’s said to feature four ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4GHz coupled with four power-efficient ARM Cortex-A53 cores. It may also feature the Mali-G71 GPU and integrated LTE modem.

It’s unclear at this point in time which Samsung device will be the first to be powered by the Exynos 9610.

BuzzFeed is getting into the smart appliance business with the Tasty One Top

BuzzFeed One Top Here’s a sentence I never expected to write: BuzzFeed is making its first smart appliance, the Tasty One Top, available for pre-order.
