Xbox Live Gold members receive a selection of games for free every month as part of Microsoft’s Games with Gold program for subscribers. The company has now confirmed the titles that its subscribers will be able to download for free in the month of September. A total of four titles are being offered, two for the Xbox One and two for the Xbox 360.
Subscribers who own an Xbox One will be able to download Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition for free from September 1st to September 30th. This edition of the title includes the Top Gear Car Pack. Forza Motorsport 5 touts an entirely new graphics engine, 16-player multiplayer, and more.
Oxenfree will be available on the Xbox One from September 16th to October 15th. It’s a supernatural thriller about a group of friends that inadvertently open a ghostly rift. The gameplay is going to be very interesting, to say the least.
Xbox 360 owners who subscribe to Xbox Live Gold will get Hydro Thunder for free from September 1st to September 15th. They’ll get Battlefield 3 as well from September 1st to September 15th.
Both Xbox 360 titles are backward compatible which means that Xbox One owners will be able to get them for free as well during the aforementioned period.
