Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Camera Details Revealed In Leak

These days most smartphones tend to be the same when it comes to specs, with the latest flagship smartphones packing the latest chipsets from Qualcomm, anywhere between 4-6GB of RAM, and at the very minimum a QHD display, which means that when it comes to differentiating the phones, its camera is one of the ways to go about it.

In a report from Ausdroid, they were sent marketing materials for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in which some details about the Note 8’s camera has been revealed. According to the leaked materials, it confirms that the Note 8 will indeed come with a dual camera setup.

The exact megapixel count is unclear, and so is Samsung’s setup. In the past we have seen how some companies like Apple choose to go with a wide angle lens for one camera, and a zoom lens for the other, while there are others who choose to use a color sensor for one camera, and a monochrome for the other.

Other details includes its aperture which is reportedly at f/1.7 which means that the LG V30 will still hold the title for the widest aperture on a smartphone at f/1.6. The report also claims 2x optical zoom which is different from what we heard, which was 3x optical zoom. In any case we should have the details next week, so check back with us then for the updates.
