HBO Hackers Leak New Curb Your Enthusiasm Episodes

It has been widely reported that HBO was hacked recently. The first signs of a hack came after a script for an unreleased Game of Thrones episode was released. We also saw some unaired episodes of other HBO shows being leaked online. As reports about the hacker’s demand and HBO’s efforts to plug the leaks pick up steam, there has been yet another leak, and this time unaired episodes from the new Curb Your Enthusiasm season have been leaked online.

Several episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm and other series have been leaked online. The new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm wasn’t due to air until October this year but HBO’s hand has been forced here.

HBO hasn’t offered a direct comment on the latest leak, saying that it’s well known that there has been a “cyber incident at HBO” and that it’s “not going to comment every time a new piece of information is released.”

Aside from the Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes, unaired episodes of the HBO comedy Insecure and episodes of the latest season of Ballers were leaked online as well. Episodes of Barry and The Deuce, two HBO series that have yet to air a single episode, have been leaked too.

A recent report suggested that the hackers have demanded millions in ransom from HBO but the cable giant doesn’t seem to have agreed to the ransom. It did try to pay them $250,000 as a “bug bounty” but apparently that offer wasn’t accepted.
