Spotify might have the lion’s share in the music streaming market, but there are regions and markets where the likes of Deezer have a more secure foothold. Fallout is a game that many gamers are familiar with which exists on the PC. It has been that way since the start and that’s presumably the way it’s going to be, although there was Fallout Shelter which did find its way onto mobile devices and consoles. However it seems that Fallout be heading in a new direction: offline.
In a report by Game Informer, it seems that Fantasy Flight has announced that they will be launching a physical board game that is based around the Fallout franchise. However it won’t be strictly a copy of Fallout, since that would be impossible to replicate on a board game. Instead it is expected to be inspired by the gameplay and tone of Fallout, but will use its own storytelling method and its own game mechanics that is more suited towards tabletop games.
Interestingly enough despite this being a tabletop game, which is usually geared towards multiple players, this version of Fallout can apparently be played solo. However if you wanted to play with others, it will support up to four players. The goal of the game is to gain influence across the wasteland that they have chosen, represented by the hexagonal tiles in the photo above.
We’re not sure how well this tabletop version of Fallout plays, but Game Informer’s early impression seems to be pretty favorable. No word on pricing just yet, but it is expected to be released in the coming months, something that Fallout fans can look forward to.

If you loved the mashups between Marvel and Capcom in their arcade fighting game, chances are you are probably anticipating the release of Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite. Now if you were pretty pleased with the lineup so far, then you might be interested to learn that Capcom has recently confirmed that Ghost Rider will be the latest addition to the game’s roster.
Prior to Ghost Rider being added to the game, the latest character was none other than fan-favorite Spider-Man, which was actually pretty relevant given how well-received the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie was. Interestingly enough the addition of Ghost Rider was not part of the alleged roster leak from a few months back, so we’re not sure if the leak was fake or if it was simply incomplete.
We’re not sure how Ghost Rider will play since there does not appear to be an official gameplay trailer for the character just yet, although Capcom notes that the character will be playable at Gamescom which will be taking place on the 22nd of August, so if you happen to be attending the event then it’s something that you can check out for yourself.
Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite is currently slated for a release on the 19th of September where it will be available on the PC, PS4, and the Xbox One.

Why do people use ad blockers? We’re sure that most people do not have an issue with websites earning money for providing a free service, but when that website is filled with ads that popup or play music or videos from ads suddenly without warning, it can be extremely annoying, which is why some people use ad blockers to begin with.
Now it seems that Google is furthering their efforts at cracking down on bad ads, and will now actually inform websites if their ads are deemed to be annoying. According to Google, “To help these publishers improve their ads experiences, we review sites daily and record videos of the ad experiences that have been found non-compliant with the Better Ads Standards.”
“If a site is in a “failing” or “warning” state, their Ad Experience Report will include these visuals, along with information about the Better Ad Standards and how the issues may impact their site. Over the next few weeks we’ll begin notifying sites with issues.” Basically Google will be helping out publishers so that they can do something about it. Whether or not they will remains is entirely up to them.
However it is possible that in the future builds of Chrome, Google will start to automatically block ads that do not meet a certain standard, like recently where Google has decided to kill off vibrating ads when using Chrome on your mobile device.

As much as Google tries, it’s safe to say that getting the latest version of Android into the hands of Android users will always be a bit slow, namely due to the fact that there are so many different Android handset makers, and all of them with their own release schedule, which is why more often than not you see many handsets still running last year’s build.
That being said, there have been improvements made to the releases over the years, and as far as Android 7.X Nougat is concerned, things appear to be chugging along rather nicely, at least according to the latest stats released by Google in which Android 7.X Nougat is currently sitting at a distribution figure of 13.4%.
This is versus the previous month in which Nougat was at 11.5%, so for it to rise by 1.9% is pretty decent. Unsurprisingly Android 6.0 Marshmallow is still dominating at 32.3%, which is odd when you consider that last month, Marshmallow was at 31.8%, so it seems like the number of Marshmallow devices actually increased.
However other than that, the rest of the older builds of Android have been on the decline, although admittedly somewhat marginally. Android 8.0 O has yet to be released so we have to say that we are curious as to what figures Nougat will be able to achieve before that.

Say you’re planning to go to a club, bar, or restaurant, and you’re wondering about the dress code, but for some reason the venue’s website doesn’t actually tell you. You could always call to check, do a search online, or in the case of Google Maps, it seems that you could pose a question and have others answer it for you.
In the APK teardown of the latest beta of Google Maps for Android, the folks at Android Police have discovered some new features that will presumably make it to the public version of the app, and a Q&A section is one of them. As the name would suggest, this is where users can post questions and other users can answer them, such as is there valet parking, what time do they close, what is this place famous for, are pets allowed, and etc.
To be honest we reckon that a lot of these questions could actually be solved by simply doing a quick search, however if you are already using Google Maps, then we guess it does save you time from having to switch apps, although whether or not your answered will be replied promptly remains to be seen.
As is the case with most Q&A platforms like Yahoo Answers or Quora, responses can be marked as helpful so that other users in the future can determine if the answer is relevant/helpful without having to search further.
