The JUMP! On Demand plan was one of T-Mobile’s uncarrier moves. The carrier made it easier for its customers to upgrade their devices throughout the year. Initially, customers were allowed to upgrade their device every three months but that limitation has been removed now. T-Mobile JUMP! On Demand device upgrades have now been allowed on a monthly basis.
T-Mobile has changed the JUMP! On Demand device upgrade policy to allow subscribers to upgrade their devices every 30 days. What this means is that they essentially get a guarantee of 12 upgrades every year.
T-Mobile has updated the support page for JUMP! On Demand and it now confirms that subscribers can upgrade their devices after 30 days. “JUMP! On Demand lets you upgrade to a new device up to once every 30 days,” the support page now mentions.
Some of the best smartphones on the market are available to T-Mobile customers under the JUMP! On Demand program. These include the likes of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, LG G5 and LG G6, and the Moto Z2 Force.
Subscribers can upgrade to a new device once every 30 days. The upgrade has to be to a different model or memory size. They will have to trade-in their current device which must be in good condition.

It’s no secret that LG has the new V30 handset in the pipeline. The company itself has talked about it on multiple occasions and there has been an endless barrage of leaks concerning the upcoming flagship. It was previously reported that the LG V30 will be announced on August 31st. LG has now confirmed that it will indeed launch the V30 on the aforementioned date. It has started sending out invites to the press for the event.
LG has started sending out public invitations which confirm that the LG V30 is going to be unveiled on August 31st. The event will be a part of the IFA 2017 convention in Berlin and LG will unveil its device at the Maritim Hotel in Berlin, Germany.
The launch event is an invite-only affair so those who don’t receive an invite won’t be able to attend the launch in person. Nevertheless, there will be a live stream on YouTube which will enable LG fans across the globe to tune into the launch event and watch the proceedings live.
The LG V30 is the South Korean company’s second flagship smartphone for the year. It’s expected to feature a Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM, a dual camera system, glass back, and wireless charging. It may be the first handset in the V series to ditch the secondary display.

HBO was hacked recently, it was proved by leaks which included the script of an unaired Game of Thrones season 7 episode as well as other content. Reports suggest that hackers managed to steal 1.5TB of data from HBO which includes scripts for more GoT episodes as well as two unreleased episodes of Room 104 and Ballers. It’s now being reported that personal details of Game of Thrones stars have now been leaked online.
The hackers have released 3.4GB of data so far. They’re reportedly demanding that HBO pay them an undisclosed amount in ransom if it wants to prevent them from leaking any more content.
One of the leaked documents is said to contain a list of personal phone numbers, email addresses, and home address of all Game of Thrones season 7 stars, including the main cast members like Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, and Lena Headey.
A forensic investigation is ongoing and HBO is still reviewing what data has been leaked. The cable giant is still of the view that there’s not enough evidence to suggest that its email system as a whole has been compromised.
However, some reports suggest that a chunk of emails have been leaked as well. Clearly, HBO would not want it to be a repeat of what happened with Sony back in 2014.
The Sony Pictures hack crippled the company’s entire email network and the leaked emails did significant reputational damage.

While some of the better known Android OEMs have jumped on the bezel-less bandwagon in 2017, Sharp has been toying with the idea for a couple of years now. It came out with the Aquos Crystal back in 2014. The handset had a bezel-less design but it was only made available to customers in Japan. Sharp today unveiled a new handset of a similar nature called the Aquos S2.
At first glance, you might mistake it for the Essential Phone because the Aquos S2 and the Essential Phone actually look quite similar. The similarities are only on the surface, though, as the Sharp handset has mid-range specifications.
The Sharp Aquos S2 features a 5.5 inch 1440p display that’s stretched to all four corners of the handset. It only has a cut-out in the middle to house the front camera. The handset’s corners are not rounded but cut off which give it an unusual look.
Under the hood, you’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, if you opt for the standard version of the handset. The premium version comes with the Snapdragon 660 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Both versions have the bezel-less design, dual cameras on the back, and a 3,020mAh battery.
Sharp Aquos S2 has only been released in China where prices for the handset start at $370. It’s unclear at this point in time if Sharp is planning to release it globally.
