mophie is a very well known name when it comes to mobile accessories, especially smartphones that need a power boost in your daily life. The company has since rolled out its fair share of smartphone cases that come with an integrated power source, allowing you to prolong usage of your device while obtaining protection at the same time, without having to head to the nearest power outlet in the middle of the day. This time around, mophie has something slightly different although it has everything to do with power — the USB-C XXL power station. The mophie USB-C XXL power station is a high capacity universal battery which has been specially designed to charge the MacBook (2015), MacBook Pro (2016), iPad, iPhone and other compatible mobile devices.
Boasting of a single USB-C and one more USB-A output charge port, this power station will feature a whopping 19,500mAh battery. This translates to more than a single full charge to a MacBook, and will arrive in soft-touch fabric so that users will be able to have a premium look and feel without cramping Apple’s product styling cues.
The USB-C port will feature USB-PD technology, enabling it to charge USB-C laptops at rapid charging rates. We are looking at up to 30 Watts, as well as the ability to accept high-speed charging input even when it is hooked up to USB-PD chargers. As for the remaining features of the mophie USB-C XXL power station, they include an additional USB-A output port 5V/2.4A, a role switch that is controlled by a status button (USB-C input/USB output), the USB-C port with a default function being set to output charge, LEDs that display the direction of charge which will confirm the switch position, a Cypress CCG2 chipset. And pass-through charging USB-C to USB-A. The asking price for the mophie USB-C XXL power station stands at $149.95 and makes for the perfect addition to any road warrior’s arsenal of gizmos.

First Look At Deadpool 2’s Cable
Posted in: Today's ChiliSo we know that in the upcoming Deadpool 2 movie, it will be featuring a new character in the form of Cable. In fact at the end of the first Deadpool movie, Ryan Reynolds (while in character) teased that Cable would be in the sequel, and sure enough he was. Many actors were reportedly tested out for the role before it was given to Josh Brolin.
For those wondering how Brolin might look like as Cable, Reynolds recently posted a photo onto his Facebook page which gives us a look at what we can expect. Unlike his comic counterpart who admittedly looks more futuristic, Deadpool 2’s Cable looks decidedly more “present”, save for his glowing eye and robotic arm, but otherwise we reckon that Brolin and the makeup team has done a pretty good job at nailing the look.
We’re not sure exactly what role Cable will have in the movie, so we’ll just have to wait and find out. This post follows a post from last week in which Reynolds also revealed another character from Deadpool 2 in the form of Domino who is played by Zazie Beetz. For those wondering why Brolin looks so familiar, it is also because he is cast as Thanos in the upcoming Avengers Infinite War movie.
Given that both universes exist separate of each other (since they’re owned by different studios), it allows Brolin to take on both roles without confusing fans too badly. Deadpool 2 is currently set for a release in 2018, so it looks like we still have quite a bit of waiting to do. In the meantime, yay or nay on Cable?

The iPhone 8 has yet to be officially launched, let alone revealed, but it seems that thanks to the various leaks that have made its way onto the internet, it has provided enough data for dummy units to be cobbled together, one of which that YouTuber Marques Brownlee managed to get his hands on, thanks to leakster Sonny Dickson.
In the video above, Brownlee basically gives us a little tour of the upcoming iPhone 8 with his hands on impressions. Of course we should point out that this is by no means the actual iPhone 8, but rather a mockup of it based on various sources, although admittedly the rumors have been relatively consistent so we wouldn’t be surprised if the final unit were to look like this.
The color scheme of this particular model is interesting because an earlier report suggested that there will be no white bezel option, and perhaps that might be a good thing because honestly we’re not quite feeling it, not to mention it does seem a bit reminiscent of phones made by HTC, or as Brownlee points out, also a bit like Andy Rubin’s Essential smartphone.
Brownlee also states that based on this model, it seems like it has a bigger display, but thanks to the bezel-less design, it has allowed Apple to package it in a smaller body which kind of solves the issue of the iPhone Plus models, where some users want the bigger screen but don’t want the bulk. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think?
