It has only been a couple of weeks since Telltale Games announced the return of Minecraft Story Mode. The first season was released last year and fans have certainly been looking forward to the new episodes. The first episode is already out and Telltale Games has now confirmed when it’s going to release the Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 Episode 2.
Telltale Games confirmed that players who have already gone through the first season will find that the choices that they made will carry over to the new season. It will be a clean slate for those who pick up the game from its second season, though.
The developer has announced today that the second episode of Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 titled Giant Consequences is going to be released on August 15th. It picks up right where we left off in the first episode.
The second episode sees Jesse and the gang survive the Sea Temple and return home with a powerful device, a lost adventurer, and a colossal enemy that’s capable of grinding Beacontown to dust.
This means that Jesse and friends have to embark on yet another adventure, this time into the icy unknown, to find out more about their fearsome for.
Telltale Games has also confirmed today that the entire first season of Minecraft Story Mode is going to be released for Nintendo Switch on August 22nd for $39.99.
