NightBall Illuminated Basketball Lets You Play in the Dark

Is your park’s basketball court busy all day? Or do you just not get to play until after work? As the days get shorter and with Daylight Savings Time coming to an end soon, night will be upon us earlier and earlier too. Now none of that is reason to stop hitting the court, thanks to this nifty illuminated basketball.

This brightly-glowing ball packs motion activated LEDs inside, and is easy to see day or night. The NightBall is an official size basketball, and it automatically shuts off when not in use. It runs on six LR44 hearing aid batteries, which can easily be changed out when the run out of juice. Why not invite your pals to a play a moonlight game of H-O-R-S-E?

I see no reason why you couldn’t play at three o’clock in the morning as long as there are no thugs around to rob you of your glowing sphere. The NightBall basketball is available now over at Vat19 for just $24.99(USD).
