GoPro’s Hero6 Camera Leak Suggests 4K Recording At 60 FPS

It’s been a while since GoPro came out with a new action camera and if the latest reports are to be believed, the company has a new Hero action camera in the pipeline. If you’ve been waiting for a new GoPro camera with the ability to record 4K video at 60 frames per second, perhaps you should hold off purchasing any existing model for the new Hero6 Black.

According to a leak spotted by Photo Rumors, the GoPro Hero6 Black is going to have support for 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. Its predecessor, the Hero5, could record 4K video but at 30 frames per second.

The GoPro Hero6 camera leak stems from a photo that’s circulating online. The photo is apparently of the retail packaging for this new camera. There are no further details about this camera available at this point in time.

The company’s CEO Nick Woodman did confirm earlier this year in February that GoPro has the Hero6 in the pipeline but he didn’t reveal more information about it. Details about the technical specs of this camera are slim right now.

It’s expected that the new camera will retain its predecessor’s design and that it’s going to be released by the end of this month. The Hero5 is currently being sold for $400 so we can expect the Hero6 to cost about the same.

Hellboy Reboot Release Date Confirmed

In case you were unaware, Lionsgate confirmed the Hellboy reboot several months ago. It has also been confirmed that Stranger Things star David Harbour will be playing the demonic lead in this movie. Lionsgate today confirmed when the Hellboy reboot is going to hit the big screen. Be advised, you’re going to have to wait a couple of years.

Lionsgate confirmed today that the Hellboy reboot release date is January 11th, 2019. A first look has been shared via Twitter today which shows David Harbour in full Hellboy getup.

Unlike the previous films that were directed by Guillermo del Toro, the reboot is going to be rated R. Neil Marshall of Game of Thrones fame will be directing the movie.

The R rating means that the director’s hands won’t be tied and he will be able to go “as dark and as tough as he wants to go,” according to Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy.

The cast is quite strong. Ian McShane has been confirmed to play Hallboy’s adoptive father Trevor Bruttenholm while Milla Jovovich will be playing Nimue, the Blood Queen.

Not a lot is known about the plot at this point in time but we’re likely to hear about it in the coming months.
