Yesterday, Apple unveiled its Series 3 Watch, which will have cellular LTE capability. The question many had, though, was about the cost. Not of the watch itself (the cellular version starts at $399), but how much on top of that will you have to pay…
We’ve all been there, glaring at the screen of our phone wishing there was some way to unsend the message that we just sent on its way. There are quite a few messaging services that provide users with the ability to delete text messages that they’ve already sent. According to a new report, the world’s most popular cross-platform messaging service might soon add this feature.
Following the lead of messaging apps like WeChat, Viber, and Telegram, a new report claims that WhatsApp is soon going to introduce a “Delete for everyone” feature. This feature will enable users to delete messages even after they’ve been sent, but there’s a caveat.
The delete for everyone feature will only work if the recipient hasn’t already read the message. If they’ve read it then it defeats the purpose of this feature altogether.
Facebook-owned WhatsApp is reportedly testing this feature on both iOS and Android. The dedicated recall server is reportedly working and successfully deleting messages.
It’s unclear at this point in time when WhatsApp is planning to roll out this feature to its countless users across the globe. Many of them are certainly going to like having the ability to delete messages that they’ve sent by accident.

It was reported a couple of months ago that Android One handsets might finally be making their way to the United States. Lenovo-owned Motorola is believed to be getting ready to launch an Android One edition of the recently launched Moto X4. If a new report is to be believed, a rebranded HTC U11 Life is going to be the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer’s first Android One device.
According to reports, a variant of the device codenamed HTC “Ocean Life” is going to be released as the Android One edition. This variant will run on stock Android OS with very few HTC customizations. It’s going to ditch most of the HTC apps that are part and parcel of the company’s Android customization.
Serial Twitter leakster @evleaks has reiterated the rumor on Twitter and has even shared a render of the handset. It clearly shows that no HTC Android UI customization will be onboard. Users will get a stock Android experience with this device, that’s something that a lot of people really appreciate.
It’s unclear at this point in time if HTC is planning to release this variant of the handset in the United States. The rumor mill isn’t giving up on the hope that the handset will eventually make it Stateside as well.

Apple launched several new products at its first event ever at the new Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. It has quietly launched another product that wasn’t mentioned during the event, for good reason, since it doesn’t really warrant time on the big stage. This product is a pair of new urBeats3 earphones.
These mid-range Beats-branded earphones can be purchased in matte gold, matte silver, and black finishes. Unlike their predecessors the urBeats 2 which were all white with color accents, the new earphones tout color all over. They have a Lightning connector so they will work with the latest iPhone models.
The company claims that the new urBeats 3 earphones have a fine-tuned acoustic design with an axial-aligned driver, secure fit wingtips, and magnetic earbuds.
The earphones have a RemoteTalk button which can be used to wake up Siri, take calls, and control music playback with an easy press of a button.
If you’d like a pair of these new earphones that work with other devices, the company is also selling a version with a 3.5mm standard headphone plug in white, black, gray, and blue finishes.
Apple is going to charge $99.96 for the urBeats 3 earphones when they become available this year in the fall.

Windows 10 privacy controls have gradually been improved by Microsoft throughout this year and it will continue to improve them further. Some initial concerns were addressed by the company with the Windows 10 Creators Update. The company will be making further changes with the upcoming Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. New privacy prompts for apps will be included in the next major update for Windows 10.
Windows 10 Fall Creators Update users will be able to access the full privacy statement during setup. Each privacy setting will get its own “learn more” section in the setup process. This will be important for those who don’t read the full statement, then again, that’s what most users do.
The learn more sections will enable users to better understand what the settings entail without having to go through the full privacy statement.
Windows 10 users are currently prompted to enable location-based information for apps like maps. Microsoft is going to display this dialogue box on other apps. For example, after the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the system will prompt the user for access to the microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, and additional information.
The prompts will be displayed only after new apps have been installed once the system has been upgraded to the Fall Creators Update. Windows Insiders will see these new changes in beta builds in the near future.
Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is going to be released on October 17th.

Apple didn’t announce any new tablets at its event yesterday. It actually made no iPad-related announcements at the event. However, the company did raise prices for the iPad Pro quietly. This was discovered earlier today. The iPad Pro prices for some models have been raised by around $50.
Apple has quietly made the iPad Pro more expensive. The 256GB and 512GB models of the tablet have seen a price increase of $50 each. Apple launched the 10.5 inch Wi-Fi models of these tablets for $749 and $949 respectively earlier this year in June. You’ll now have to pay $799 and $999 for the same iPads.
The price increase isn’t just limited to the Wi-Fi only models. Apple has also made the cellular models more expensive as well. They previously cost $879 and $1,079 and will now be sold for $929 and $1,129 respectively.
Apple has not provided any reasoning for this quiet price increase but as it stands now if you want to buy an iPad Pro, this is what you’ll have to pay for it. The price increase has also been applied in other markets like Australia and Europe.
iPad customers who could buy the same tablets for less yesterday will now have to pay $50 more for the very same models starting today. They’re immediately available for purchase at the new price from Apple online and its retail stores.
