EA today detailed the next expansion for Battlefield 1. Called Turning Tides, the expansion is going to be released in December and it’s going to bring a lot of new content for players. New weapons, maps, a new operation, and more have been promised by EA. Players will experience all-out war on the new battlefields of Gallipoli and the North Sea.
Players will don the boots of the British Empire’s Royal Marines for the first time in Battlefield 1. Cape Helles and Achi Baba are the two new maps on the Gallipoli peninsula. Players will be taking part in the British amphibious assault on the Gallipoli peninsula in 1915.
January will bring the launch of two additional maps titled Heligoland Bight and Zeebrugge. Also included in this expansion are the L-Class Destroyer and the C-Class Airship. The Infiltrator, a new stealth-focused class, is also going to be available.
Conquest Assault is a twist on the existing Conquest mode, it puts attackers and defenders against each other. Attackers will try to take areas that are controlled by the defenders at the start of the match.
EA has confirmed that the Battlefield 1: Turning Tides expansion is going to be released in December. The two additional maps and the Royal Marines faction will be available starting January 2018. It’s included as part of the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass that costs $49.99.
