HTC U11 Plus Launch Possible At November 2nd Event

There have been countless rumors about a new HTC smartphone over the past couple of weeks. Reports have suggested that the HTC U11 Plus is going to be unveiled by the company in November. HTC has now sent out invites for an event that’s scheduled on November 2nd. It’s possible that the much-rumored handset might be unveiled at the event.

Previous reports have claimed that the HTC U11 Plus is going to be the bezel-less version of the HTC U11, the flagship handset HTC launched earlier this year.

HTC has sent invites for an event that’s going to take place in Taipei, Taiwan on November 2nd. While the company hasn’t confirmed as yet what it’s going to talk about at the event, there’s a possibility that it might be the U11 Plus.

The HTC U11 Plus is said to feature a bezel-less 6 inch Quad HD+ resolution display, that really might be the biggest difference between the U11 and U11 Plus. The other specs are expected to remain the same. The U11 Plus will likely feature the Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It may also include a 12 megapixel rear camera.

HTC hasn’t said anything about this device so far which is why nothing is set in stone just yet.

First Drone Defibrillator Service Launched In The US

Flirtey, a drone delivery service, has teamed up with an ambulance company to launch the first drone defibrillator service in the United States. The company’s drones will be used for sending out defibrillators and other emergency equipment by air in situations where they’re required. This partnership with the Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority will allow responders to dispatch an automated external defibrillator by air.

As a result of this partnership, responders will be able to dispatch an external defibrillator by air in addition to ambulance dispatches for every emergency call for a cardiac arrest.

The rapid drone deployment program combines Flirtey’s flight-planning software technology with the ambulance company’s patient care and transport programs. The aim of this program is to improve response times, particularly in locations where traffic can often be a hurdle in the arrival of paramedics on the scene.

This joint delivery program will enable a person on the scene to use the defibrillator on the person going into cardiac arrest before the paramedics arrive. The equipment has been designed in a way that it can be used by anyone, even those who don’t have a health care of emergency background.

“This is one of the most important uses of drone-delivery technology, and we believe that by democratizing access to this lifesaving aid, our technology will save more than a million lives over the decades to come,” said Flirtey CEO Matthew Sweeny.

Google Photos Is Better At Finding Your Pets Now

If you like to take a lot of pictures of your pets (then again, who doesn’t?), you might want to back them up on Google Photos as the service is better at recognizing your best friends. It can actually recognize your pets which means that you no longer have to search for their pictures on Google Photos by typing generic search terms such as “dog” or “cat.” It’s going to be much easier now.

Google Photos users will now be able to see photos of cats and dogs grouped alongside people so they can label them by name. This will enable them quickly search and pull up their photos. This also makes it easier to create albums, movies, and even photo books of pets.

Alongside grouping photos of pets, Google Photos also enables users to search by breed so they can easily find pictures of their Husky or Poodle. It’s even possible to search by emoji.

Google has said that this feature is now being rolled out in most countries across the globe starting today. Head over to Google Photos right now to see whether it has gone live in your region or not. Even if it hasn’t, it won’t be long before it does.
