GoPro may have launched the HERO6 action camera this week, but it’s the Fusion camera which has me really intrigued. It promises 360-degree video and photo capture like other VR cameras we’ve seen, but justifies its $699 price tag with OverCapture, GoPro‘s big new software feature. That will allow you to take 1080p traditional videos from spherical footage, and as … Continue reading

There’s something about skull art that I find really intriguing. Perhaps it’s that skulls are something that all of us have in common, or it’s just that they remind us of our mortality. I’m really digging this skull sculpture, made from recycled bits of metal.
It was made by the guys at Thailand-based Metal Model House, using scrap metal and a whole boatload of nuts welded together to create its main form. I wish the teeth had a bit more detail, but it’s still a pretty awesome sculpture. I like to imagine that they’re metal dentures he had to get after he drank too much Coca-Cola.
You can find this awesome metal skull over at Metal Model House’s Etsy shop for $259(USD), but if that’s too much for your budget, you can find lots of other cool metal sculptures over there, including a sweet set of metal dinosaur skeletons, and a metal Big Daddy from BioShock. If you buy two or more items from them, you can get 15% off your order too!
As it did last year, many would have expected OnePlus to launch a slightly updated version of its OnePlus 5 flagship in the coming months. It launched the OnePlus 3T last year several months after the OnePlus 3 was released. If the latest reports are believed, that might not happen this time around. OnePlus is expected to jump straight to the OnePlus 6, bypassing the OnePlus 5T entirely.
Keep in mind that this hasn’t been confirmed officially at this point in time. These are only speculations and only OnePlus knows what its release roadmap for next year looks like.
Rumor has it that OnePlus is going to release the OnePlus 6 early next year. The company’s new “flagship killer” is reportedly going to feature a bezel-less design. That has been the trend this year for flagship devices so it won’t be surprising if OnePlus jumps on the bandwagon as well.
If the OnePlus 6 ends up being bezel-less, it would likely have a repositioned fingerprint sensor as well. There’s a good chance that the fingerprint sensor might end up at the back of the device.
The specs are expected to include a 6 inch Quad HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It may even have a dual camera system.
As previously mentioned, none of this has been officially confirmed so take this information with a grain of salt. Nothing is set in stone for now.

Samsung’s Galaxy S “Active” handsets have always been exclusive to AT&T in the United States ever since the first one, the Galaxy S4 Active, was launched in the country. It was reported earlier this year that AT&T might no longer be the exclusive home of the Galaxy S8 Active. While this handset was launched on the country’s second-largest carrier several weeks ago, it’s possible that T-Mobile might launch the Galaxy S8 Active soon.
Just like its predecessors, the Galaxy S8 Active was recently launched as an AT&T exclusive. However, Samsung had said at that time that this handset would be available only from AT&T for a limited time.
This left the door open to the possibility of some other carrier eventually offering the Galaxy S8 Active to its customers. It appears that the other carrier is going to be T-Mobile, the country’s third-largest mobile carrier.
According to VentureBeat, the T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Active release is going to take place soon. The variant it launches will have the version number SM-G892T. It will be sold in Meteor Gray and Titanium Gold colors, the same that are available on AT&T right now.
The report doesn’t mention precisely when T-Mobile is going to officially launch the Galaxy S8 Active on its network but it may not be long before it does that.
