Zelda’s Producer Confirms They’re Working On A New Game Already

Now that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been released alongside both of its DLCs, we’re sure many are wondering what’s next? Recently the game’s director suggested that they were still unsure if they wanted to continue with DLCs or start a new game, but regardless they had plenty of ideas to work with.

However according to a tweet by Source Gaming, it seems that the next Zelda title is already being worked on. This is apparently according to Eiji Aonuma who is the producer of Zelda, who confirmed that work on the next Zelda title has already begun. Details are obviously unknown at this point in time, but we can’t say that we’re too surprised by this.

After all many developers tend to work on new projects more or less immediately after one has been released, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. As Source Gaming points out, Breath of the Wild development started shortly after Skyward Sword was released, so this isn’t exactly an unprecedented move by Nintendo.

That being said, it will probably be a while before we do see it released, so gamers will most likely have to remain patient until then, but in the meantime there appears to be quite a plethora of games being released on the Switch to keep gamers busy and entertained.

Thatgamecompany’s ‘Sky: Light Awaits’ Soft Launched In The Philippines

When it comes to indie games, thatgamecompany is probably a name that is well-known by many gamers. The company has in the past been responsible for popular titles such as Journey, Flower, and Flow, and if you’re looking forward to seeing what the company’s next title is, you might be in luck.

It seems that the company’s next game, Sky: Light Awaits has been soft launched in the Philippines. For those unfamiliar, Sky is the thatgamecompany’s next title that is being launched for mobile devices. It is expected to be a flagship title for the new Apple TV, but it is also available on iOS devices and will be a timed exclusive and should eventually find its way onto other platforms.

According to Touch Arcade, Sky is a multiplayer game where you and your friends will have to explore the mysteries of a long-lost kingdom. Players will have a small candle and flame in order to do their exploring, which is where having large groups of friends will help to make it easier to explore, which seems to be in line with some of thatgamecompany’s previous titles like Journey.

That being said, Sky isn’t available worldwide yet but given its soft launch and with thatgamecompany setting a release date for Q4 2017, we probably won’t have to wait too long for it to be released.

Apple To Launch ‘Global Flagship’ Retail Store In Australia

As far as official Apple Stores in Australia are concerned, there are quite a few scattered throughout the country. However it seems like that isn’t enough because Apple has since announced their plans to launch a “global flagship” store in Federation Square, which is located in the city of Melbourne, Australia.

According to Apple, the launch of this “global flagship” store is expected to bring an additional 2 million visitors to Federation Square per year, create 250 temporary construction jobs, and also 200 ongoing jobs following the completion of the store. Construction is expected to commence in 2019 and will be ready in 2020, which means that it will still be some time to go before customers will be able to check the store out for themselves.

Apple retail head Angela Ahrendts is quoted as saying, “We’re thrilled to move forward in the planning process for our new home in Melbourne’s Federation Square and will be honoured to call the world-class galleries and museums of Melbourne our neighbours.” Australia’s Minister for Trade and Investment Philip Dalidakis adds, “Apple’s new Australian flagship reinforces Melbourne’s reputation as the undisputed tech capital of Australia and creates hundreds of ongoing jobs in the process.”

It is unclear as to what the store could look like, but based on Apple’s other standalone retail stores, it should be a bit of an architecture marvel.
