Prior to its release, it was reported countless times that the iPhone X would be available in short supply at launch. Apple’s manufacturing partners were reportedly having issues with some components and that had created bottlenecks in the production process. It has been over a month since the iPhone X was released and Apple has now finally caught up with demand for the iPhone. The new flagship handset is now available for purchase with next-day delivery.
All iPhone X models are now listed as in stock on the U.S. Apple online store. Customers can get next-day delivery on all iPhone X models, something that was impossible when the handset first came out. Delivery estimates were predicted to drop before the end of this year as Apple cleared the backlog of orders.
There has been significant demand for Apple’s new flagship smartphone so that has certainly not helped with the supply issues. Scalpers took full advantage of the situation at resold iPhone X units at outrageous premiums on eBay.
The stock situation hasn’t just improved on Apple’s online store. Third-party carriers and resellers also have ample stock of the iPhone X available.
Customers who couldn’t get their hands on one initially will now find it much easier to purchase an iPhone X.

9-year-old Mikah Frye’s actions have earned him a lot of praise. He had the Xbox One on his Christmas list but decided to give it up in exchange for purchasing over sixty blankets for the homeless. The blankets that were distributed to the homeless had a personal message from Mikah which said “Today, I live in my own house, and someday you will too. Your friend Mikah.” Word of his selflessness reached Microsoft which planned an amazing surprise for the remarkable boy.
The child knew what it felt like to lose one’s home. His parents fell on hard times a few years ago and the family lost their home. They had to stay at a shelter for several weeks before they could find another place to stay.
Microsoft employees planned a surprise for Mikah at a local mall in his hometown of Beachwood, Ohio. They reached out to Mikah’s grandmother to tell her about the plan. “When they called and told me I was just instantly crying on the phone and I couldn’t believe it,” she said.
When he turned up at the mall, he was greeted by employees of the store and Santa who handed him two bags full of gifts. The gifts included an Xbox One console. Mikah understandably had tears of joy after seeing the gifts.
It was an incredible gesture of selflessness from the young boy and it’s good to see that Microsoft stepped up and rewarded him for it.

President Trump recently signed a defense policy spending bill which included a formal ban on Kaspersky’s anti-virus software. The complete federal ban followed a warning to U.S. federal agencies earlier this year to not use Kaspersky software on their computers. Kaspersky did say that it was considering all options to fight the ban and the company has now sued the U.S. government over the federal ban imposed on its software.
A directive was issued to U.S. civilian agencies in September this year by the Department of Homeland Security ordering them to remove Kaspersky Lab from their computer networks within 90 days. The subsequent federal ban now prohibits the use of this software by both civilian and military agencies.
The U.S. government banned Kaspersky’s software for potential links with Russia, that’s something that Kaspersky has repeatedly denied. It even offered to share its source code with the government to address concerns that its software eavesdrops on U.S. machines.
Kaspersky sued the government in federal court today, arguing that it has been deprived of its due process rights. The company’s founder Eugene Kaspersky has said in an open letter that the company’s reputation and its commercial operations have been harmed by this ban “without any evidence of wrongdoing by the company.”

The wearable market is a tough one to track and Adidas is one of the many companies that have come to that realization. Adidas is shutting down its digital sports organization and it’s also shaking up what remains of its digital efforts. Adidas will basically not be developing wearable hardware but it’s going to create digital experiences nonetheless.
“To further drive our digital transformation and win the consumer in this dynamic business environment, we’ve redefined our strategic approach toward digital, sharpening our focus on digital experiences,” Adidas said in a statement.
The company also confirmed that it’s discontinuing its standalone digital sports organization and will consolidate its app ecosystem. Adidas will be focusing its efforts on the Runtastic and the Adidas app brand platforms significantly now.
“We are integrating digital across all areas of our business and will continue to grow our digital expertise in a more integrated way,” it added.
The writing has been on the wall for Adidas’ wearable ambitions for over a year no2. It was first reported late last year that Adidas had ditched plans to release a standalone sport watch. Other wearable products that were supposed to be out in 2017 have been shelved as well.
That’s how it’s likely going to be now. Adidas fans can no longer hold on to hope for new wearable devices from the company.
