During any browsing session, every page that we visit is being saved to our browser’s history. Along with that, cookies, auto-fill data, cached and downloaded files are being stored as well. But what happens when one wants to erase all this stuff?
The process is a piece of cake; regardless which browser you use. In this tutorial, we will be covering Chrome and Firefox for desktop and mobile, as well as Microsoft’s Edge and Samsung’s Android browser.
Google Chrome
Let’s kick things off with the most commonly used web browser worldwide, Google Chrome; first the desktop version and then the Android one.
Desktop (Windows, Mac and Linux)
To enter the browsing history menu, click on the Customization button, located on the top right-hand corner, then click History. Alternatively, press Ctrl+H on your keyboard.
Select “Clear browsing data”.
Select the browsing items you wish to erase; such as browsing history, download history, passwords etc. You can also specify the starting-point, time-wise. Specific website-visits can be erased by right-clicking>Delete on the respective item.
When ready, click on the blue “Clear browsing data” button. Do not close Chrome while it is clearing the data.
Mobile (Android and iOS)
Similarly, follow History>Clear Browsing Data>select the items you wish to erase>Clear Data.
Mozilla Firefox
The process is quite similar on Firefox as well.
Desktop
Click the menu button located in the top right-hand corner. Then go to History>Clear Recent History. Much like Chrome, you can use Ctrl+H to view the browsing history list.
Chose the items you wish to erase and the time frame. Then hit clear now.
Mobile (Android and iOS)
In a similar way, follow Settings>Clear private data>Select the items you wish to erase>Clear data.
Microsoft Edge
Alongside Windows 10, Microsoft released Edge, a decent replacement of the horrible Internet Explorer.
To erase your browsing history on Edge, click the menu button located in the top right-hand corner, select the history button and then the “Clear all history”. Chose the kind of data you wish to erase and then hit Clear.
Samsung’s mobile browser
For Galaxy S-line owners who use Samsung’s stock browser, erasing browsing data is almost identical to Chrome and Firefox.
Hit the menu button in the top right-hand corner, then follow Settings>Privacy>Delete Personal Data>Check the items you wish to delete>Delete.
If you encounter any problems while trying out any of the above or have a recommendation to make, feel free to shoot a comment down below.

BMW is heavily interested in the future of the automotive industry and that’s not surprising at all. The company has made a string of investments recently to advance its self-driving and electric car technologies. The company has now announced that it’s teaming up with battery technology company Solid Power to develop and commercialize solid-state batteries that will be used in electric cars.
Solid-state batteries are generally believed to be safer than conventional Li-ion cells. However, they have some limitations like temperature ranges and electrode current density. Moreover, they haven’t been produced on a large scale as yet and not at a price point that makes them competitive with Li-ion.
Solid Power recently claimed to have made a breakthrough in solid-state battery technology by incorporating a high-capacity lithium metal anode in lithium batteries to create a call with an energy capacity that’s up to 3x higher than Lithium-ion.
“Collaborating with BMW is further validation that solid-state battery innovations will continue to improve electric vehicles. We’re looking forward to working with BMW on pushing the limits on developments around xEV batteries,” said Doug Campbell, the founder and CEO of Solid Power.
BMW’s resources and expertise will help the company commercialize its solid-state battery technology. The German auto giant wouldn’t mind getting to use the tech in its cars of the future as well.

Supersonic air travel has been impossible for the people ever since the Concorde was grounded. While there are efforts to bring back supersonic passenger jets, two companies are working to develop a supersonic business jet for those who can afford to fly private. The companies working on this ambitious project are Lockheed Martin and Aerion. They have formed a partnership to develop the first supersonic business jet in the world.
Aerion has been working on the idea for its AS2 supersonic business jet since the past few years. It previously collaborated with Airbus for the aerodynamics and structural design. The company then teamed up with GE for the development of a supersonic engine.
The company has now inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Lockheed Martin. Both companies will work together to complete the future phases of development on this supersonic business jet ranging from engineering to production.
“Following our initial review of Aerion’s aerodynamic technology, our conclusion is that the Aerion AS2 concept warrants the further investment of our time and resources,” said Orlando Carvalho, Executive Vice President for Lockheed Martin.
It’s going to be a while before the world’s first supersonic business jet is ready for its first flight. Aerion predicts that it will be able to achieve that milestone by 2023.
It’s unclear how much the jet will cost once it clears all the hurdles to become a reality. It goes without saying that unless you’re in the 1 percent, you probably won’t be catching a ride on it anytime soon.

As you can probably imagine, there’s a lot of anticipation for Game of Thrones season 8. HBO’s celebrated TV series won’t be back for over a year and yet fans are dying to find out clues about what the upcoming season will bring. Kit Harington, the actor who plays Jon Snow, has said that the upcoming season of Game of Thrones is going to be bigger than ever.
Kit Harington’s Jon Snow is one of the most crucial characters in Game of Thrones. It’s also one of the few characters that have managed to stay alive since the very first season. That only underscores the importance of Jon Snow in the grand scheme of things.
Speaking with Time, Harington said that “It’s a lot of–it’s just bigger than it’s ever been!” It is sinking in, it’s just quite emotional.” The actor will be in Belfast later this week to shoot some scenes for the upcoming season.
Harington will finish filming his scenes for Game of Thrones season 8 in 2018. Don’t expect him to drop any plot spoilers, though. Given the leak problem that HBO had to deal with, reports have suggested that security has been really dialed up to prevent any leaks concerning the next season.
HBO is yet to confirm when the next season of Game of Thrones will premiere. Reports suggest that it will either be by the end of 2018 or early 2019.
