It was first reported last month that Samsung was possibly developing a new 2-in-1 Chromebook with a detachable keyboard. Some more information has surfaced about the device. A new report claims that Samsung’s new Chromebook is going to feature a stowable stylus. The information is based on new commits in the Chromium Repository.
Samsung unveiled the Chromebook Pro and Chromebook Plus earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show in January. CES 2018 is just around the corner so if it does have a new Chromebook in the pipeline, we can expect it to be unveiled in the near future.
The new commits have multiple references to inserting and ejecting the stylus as well as a separate stylus tools menu that reacts to these actions. That’s expected behavior from a Samsung device that features the S Pen stylus.
It’s unclear at this point in time what sort of specifications will this new Chromebook offer. Whether it’s going to be a high-end device like the Google Pixelbook remains to be seen. For all we know, it could offer modest specifications at a competitive price point.
Samsung hasn’t said anything about its plans for a new Chromebook at this point in time. We’ll have to wait until CES 2018 next month in order to find out if the company really is going to launch one.

Kids can build some pretty decent Hot Wheels tracks in their homes. I remember building some that were pretty tall, but this track has those beat by a mile (or at least a few hundred feet). YouTube channel 5MadMovieMakers know how to make amazing Hot Wheels tracks, and their latest is gigantic, and puts the rest of our tracks to shame. It starts out from a second-story window to get things going, and just gets better from there.
All I can say is that they must have spent a fortune on all of those track pieces. Imagine how many pieces it must have taken to make all of those zig-zags back and forth through the backyard and garden. The entire track is pretty flawless too. When you watch the cars go down the whole course, it is a smooth ride all the way – much better than the ones I made as a kid.
The coolest part of the video is when they send a camera-equipped Hot Wheels car down the track for a first person perspective. I can’t wait until we get some of that “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” technology, because I wait to go for a ride on a Hot Wheels track like this. Hopefully Hot Wheels will have a theme park that uses this technology. Hurry up Hot Wheels!

Make sure you have a large bucket of fried chicken to help you pass the time and ensure that the entire inside surface of this tent gets as greasy as possible. The Colonel is sprawled all over the roof and looking down on you after all. Good times. No, that’s not creepy at all.
