Seems pretty shellfish.
Russia President Vladimir Putin spoke this week on the dangers of election meddling via web-based social media. He did this after signing into law a means for Russian officials to label news organizations “foreign agents.” Earlier this year Russia was accused of meddling in the 2016 US Presidential Election with social media and with other digital means. On Monday, Putin’s … Continue reading
Apple was the Christmas 2017 smartphone and tablet winner, new activations research suggests, comfortably out-pacing Samsung while Google remains in the weeds. Smartphone-makers are generally fairly coy about disclosing sales figures, particularly for individual devices or specific retail periods. However, that doesn’t mean the stats can’t be fathomed out by roundabout ways. In the case of Flurry Analytics, for example, … Continue reading
King-size games may have to wait as Nintendo reportedly delays 64-gig Switch cartridges
Posted in: Today's Chili The Switch may be the most pleasant tech surprise of 2017, but although it has many excellent qualities, excessive storage space is not among them. Chinese phone makers rarely get top billing in the US, but that might change in a matter of weeks. Sources speaking to The information have claimed that Huawei has scored a previously rumored deal to offer its Mate 10 flagship through AT&T in Fe…
It was reported several weeks ago that Huawei wants to take a crack at the U.S. smartphone market by teaming up with local carriers. Having a carrier partner in the country will provide Huawei handsets with increased visibility and will enable the company to expand its user base in the country. Huawei recently confirmed that it will indeed be teaming up with U.S. carriers to launch handsets. A new report claims that the Huawei Mate 10 will be the first handset to arrive in the U.S. and that AT&T will launch it in February 2018.
The president of Huawei’s consumer business Richard Yu did confirm last week that the company will launch the Mate 10 first in the country but he didn’t say which carrier will be offering it.
The Information reports today that the Huawei Mate 10 is going to be launched with AT&T in February 2018. Pricing information hasn’t be revealed as yet so it’s unclear how much the carrier is going to charge for it.
There’s also the expectation that Huawei might make some changes to its EMUI Android skin before the Mate 10 makes its way to the United States officially. The company hasn’t confirmed that officially at this point in time so take this information with a grain of salt for now.
