Two Guys Solve Five Rubik’s Cubes While Juggling

There are nerds and then there are NERDS. These nerds are some kind of super-nerd wizards with amazing powers. They are out-nerding all of the nerdiest nerds. The proof is in the video below, in which Ravi Fernando and Nick Thomas solve five Rubik’s Cubes while juggling. I see great potential for a nerd circus to evolve from this act… and I want to be the ringleader.

Watch as these guys each solve cubes one-handed while passing three more cubes with their other hand. Marvel as they finish each cube, then switch it out and start the next one. Step right up and see this amazing feat of geek! For their next act, they will perform a daring Star Wars vs. Star Trek debate, while solving and juggling ten Rubik’s Cubes as William Shatner and Mark Hamill also debate standing between them! It’s gonna be a great show. Call me guys, we can set this up. I’ll only take 10% of the ticket sales.

These guys are way more talented than I will ever be at both solving Rubik’s Cubes and juggling. They have a real future in all kinds of puzzle solving sports.

Game Of Thrones Is The Most Torrented TV Show Of 2017

For the past few years, HBO’s Game of Thrones has had the “honor” of being the most pirated TV show, a title that they’ve won pretty much for the past six years or so, and it seems that their streak won’t be ending anytime soon because according to a report from TorrentFreak, Game of Thrones is 2017’s most pirated TV show as well.

Or rather to be more specific, Game of Thrones is 2017’s most torrented TV show of 2017 based on BitTorrent traffic. As TorrentFreak notes, given that there are plenty of avenues for watching Game of Thrones illegally, it’s hard to tell how much the series has been pirated, but based on torrents alone it seems to be just as popular as before.

In fact a report from September revealed that Game of Thrones Season 7 was pirated a whopping 1 billion times. Other shows that have made the “honor” of being the most downloaded include AMC’s The Walking Dead in second place, CW’s The Flash, The Big Bang Theory, Rick and Morty, Prison Break, Sherlock, Vikings, Suits, and Arrow rounding off the top ten list.

We expect that moving forwards the final season of Game of Thrones will be no different. In fact if anything it is possible that its piracy could reach even greater heights due to it officially concluding the series. That being said, the eighth and final season is expected to be released in 2019, so fans will still have a bit of waiting to do.

HTC Expected To Reduce The Number Of Phones Launched In 2018

It is safe to say that despite HTC’s best efforts, the company’s smartphones haven’t exactly been receiving the same kind of attention that we’re seeing paid towards Apple or Samsung, and for the past few years, the company has sort of been struggling in the mobile space, going as far as selling off their smartphone team to Google.

That being said, based on all of this it doesn’t really come as a surprise to learn that HTC might want to further trim its portfolio in 2018. A report from DigiTimes (via PhoneArena) has revealed that the company will allegedly plan to reduce the number of new phones launched in 2018. Instead the company will be focusing on a single flagship (as previously promised), along with a couple of mid-ranged handsets.

In fact the report goes on to claim that such a handset could make its debut at CES 2018 where a “watered down” HTC U11+ smartphone could be launched. HTC isn’t alone in trimming their portfolio or shifting their focus to other areas. Companies like Sony have also reduced their focus on markets like US, China, and India despite their best efforts.

It remains to be seen what HTC’s next flagship could feature and whether or not it could be enough to bring the company back into focus, but we’ll have to wait until 2018 to find out.

Alleged Samsung Galaxy S9 Front Panel Leaked

Many are undoubtedly curious as to what the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ could look like. However from what we can tell from previous rumors, Samsung isn’t expected to change the design too much, save for possibly slimming the bezels of the phone even further to give its display a bigger look.

Now according to a post by Techno Codex, they have managed to get their hands on what appears to be a hands-on photo of the front panel of the upcoming Galaxy S9. It’s hard to tell exactly how big this panel is based on the photo alone, but for the most part it does resemble the Galaxy S8, which we suppose is in line with the earlier rumors of Samsung not deviating too far from the original design.

Also we can’t be sure if it’s just the angle of the photo, but the lower bezel does appear to be slightly slimmer than the Galaxy S8 by ever so slightly, but like we said it could be an angle thing. That being said this information should be taken with a grain of salt for now since it isn’t official, even if it does seem to corroborate earlier rumors and leaks.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is rumored to be announced in February 2018 at MWC 2018 and possibly released in March 2018.

LG, HERE join forces on self-driving car tech

No, LG isn’t making autonomous vehicles. It isn’t even making its own in-vehicle unit itself. Instead, it is hooking up with HERE, formerly owned by Nokia, to provide car and head unit makers with a new telematics platform that will leverage the two companies’ key strengths in order to give self-driving cars a better picture of the world around them. … Continue reading
