The worst gadgets of 2017

Star Trek Bridge Lamps Operate at Light Speed

While there have been numerous series in the Star Trek universe over the decades, The Original Series and The Next Generation were my favorites. So when I saw these cool Trek-inspired table lamps I was happy to see both of those series represented.

Each of these sweet lamps features a miniature replica of the bridge of the USS Enterprise at its base. There’s tons of detail in each setting, and I can imagine tiny versions of Kirk and Picard barking orders from each of their respective captain’s chairs.

Apparently, the chairs are just the right size for LEGO minifigs, so you should go grab some of the awesome Star Trek crew figures from Minifigs.me to go with. They’ve got both TOS and TNG figure sets, including Wesley Crusher and his epic sweater.

Each lamp measures 18″ high, and can take a Type A bulb up to 40 watts. Both the original NCC-1701 and NCC-1701-D are available exclusively from ThinkGeek and sell for $99.99 each.
