The last signs of the Google Pixel C have been pulled from the Google Store, marking the demise of the clever-but-expensive Android tablet that always struggled to make sense. Launched in late 2015, the 10.2-inch tablet was revealed a matter of weeks after Apple took the wraps off the original, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and in many respects the two slates … Continue reading

While it’s no longer a novelty to run Android apps on your Chromebook, that doesn’t mean they run well. To date, most of those apps pause when you switch away — fine for a phone, but not what you’d expect on a computer with a multi-window interface…

Chinese developer Yunchang Game had acquired the IP rights to publish a game based on the popular Devil May Cry franchise. According to reports out of China, a new Devil May Cry game for mobile devices has now been announced. It’s going to be called Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat and will be released for Android and iOS devices next year.
The mobile game is going to replicate Devil May Cry’s quick real-time combat system with a Unity 3D engine. It will include online modes that enable players to take part in team battles and solo PvP matches.
The images suggest that players will get to play either as Dante or Vergil. It’s unclear if they will be able to play as some of the other characters from the series like Trish, Nero, and Lady. It’s also unclear if the game is going to have a single-player mode. Given that it’s a mobile title, that seems a bit unlikely.
It will be interesting to see how this game is received by fans particularly since it’s being developed by a relatively unknown studio.
Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat is reportedly going to be released at some point in 2018. It appears that the title is going to be launched in China initially. The developer is yet to confirm if and when the game is going to be released internationally.
