Nearly 30 Democratic lawmakers have invited Dreamers to Trump’s first State of the Union address.
It sounds like an April Fools’ prank but this is no joke. This is serious business, literally and figuratively. Despite the ridiculousness of the idea, not to mention the risks, the Boring Company … Continue reading
At the moment, the mainstream VR market is mostly a two-horse race, with Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive taking the lion’s share of the market. Not that others haven’t tried. Microsoft has its own Windows Mixed Reality platform and Sony came even earlier with the PlayStation VR, formerly codenamed “Morpheus”. PS VR, sadly, still has a lot of growing … Continue reading

Turn the clock back a few years ago, hearing that a phone could pack as much as 4GB of RAM sounded pretty crazy. However this eventually became the norm and we started seeing phones packing as much as 6GB. Now it looks like we could go even higher because according to the rumors, Vivo could have a 10GB RAM smartphone in the works.
This is according to a recent image that was posted onto Weibo (via Pocketnow) which allegedly shows off the Vivo Xplay 7 with some of its specs listed. Assuming this is accurate, the Xplay 7 will pack 10GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of storage. Both the former and latter sound pretty insane since we’re not sure if anyone really needs 10GB of RAM on their phones, and 512GB of storage does sound like it could be pretty expensive.
However it wouldn’t be entirely out of the question because if you recall, in December 2017 Samsung announced that they have begun mass producing the industry’s first 512GB embedded storage solution, which means that it wouldn’t be a stretch to think Vivo could be using this technology.
In any case take it with a grain of salt for now since there’s no way to confirm if this post is the real deal, but in the meantime what do you guys think? Is 10GB of RAM a bit of overkill as far as phones are concerned?

If you’re getting a bit tired of what Activision’s Call of Duty: WWII is offering at the moment, then you might have heard that a DLC is in the works that is scheduled for a release on the 30th of January, 2018, which is today. To hype the launch of the DLC, Activision has since published a new live action trailer for it.
Dubbed “The Resistance”, this live action trailer is actually a rather funny and interesting one and something you might not necessarily expect from the franchise, but it’s still pretty entertaining all the same. “The Resistance” will be the first DLC for Call of Duty: WWII and last we heard, there will be at least three more DLCs that have been planned, although details about those DLCs have yet to be released.
We should also point out that “The Resistance” will be a timed exclusive to Sony’s PS4 console before it eventually finds its way onto the Xbox One and the PC. It was not stated as to how long this timed exclusivity will last, but if you play Call of Duty: WWII on the Xbox One or PC, then we guess you’ll still have a bit of waiting to do.
In any case if you have a minute or so to spare, you can check out the live action trailer for the upcoming DLC in the video above.

Usually in games once you’ve chosen your character, you’re more or less stuck with it in terms of certain features, like the character’s face, hair, eyes, nose, and etc. There are some things that can be changed, like armor, but if you wanted to change the way a character looks on a base level (such as expressions), once you’ve made your choice you’re pretty much stuck with it.
That’s the same thing that’s happening with Capcom’s recently released Monster Hunter: World, but the good news is that Capcom could be considering changing that. In a recent interview with GAME Watch (via Siliconera), the game’s producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed that if there is enough demand for it, post-creation character customization could be a feature that Capcom will consider in the future.
Tsujimoto was quoted as saying, “You can’t redo it, but when making a character you can check their expressions, so you might want to do that first while making a character. However, if there’s enough demand for it then I’ll put it under consideration.” This seems to follow reports of players who spent quite a lot of time in the character creator, only to find out that the actual facial animations and lighting aren’t as accurate as they had thought.
Note that this is by no means a guarantee that it will come, so if you are planning on starting the game, you might want to spend a little extra time deciding if your character’s look is something you can live with for the foreseeable future.

As convenient as the Nespresso is (and other similar machines), the problem is that it locks you into the Nespresso pods. While the pods do make decent enough coffee, there might be some coffee enthusiasts who are more particular about their beans, plus it’s hard to beat freshly ground beans versus beans that have been sitting in pods for months.
This is where the Capsulier Revo comes in. This is a machine that lets users make their own Nespresso pods using their own beans. This means that users get to pick and choose their own beans and put them into pods that can be used with a Nespresso machine, ensuring that every pull is a fresh one (or at least as fresh as they can be).
The best part is that the Capsulier Revo uses stainless steel pods which means that it also deals with the problem with pod-using machines that are said to be causing environmental problems. The machine is capable of holding up to eight empty pods at once, meaning you can load them up one by one or make batches at a time for convenience.
At this point in time the Capsulier Revo only works with Nespresso machines, but there are plans to develop a version that will work with Keurig’s products. The Capsulier Revo is currently on Kickstarter seeking funding, and with all crowdfunded projects, there’s no guarantee that it will be successfully funded, or if it will ship on time (we’ve seen some popular projects that took ages to ship), but if you don’t mind the risk, head on over to its Kickstarter page for the details.
