iOS 11.3 Beta References ‘Modern iPad’

Right now Apple’s iPad lineup consists of the iPad mini, the iPad, and the iPad Pro. However could there be a new iPad in the works? According to a recent tweet by the editor of iHelpBR Filipe Esposito, there were some clues found inside of the beta of iOS 11.3 that seems to suggest that there could be a new iPad in the works.

Within the beta, it was discovered that there are references made to a “modern iPad”. We suppose any iPad launched in 2018 could be considered “modern”, but the way it sounds seems to be hint that it could be designed to separate itself from the rest of the iPads, or maybe we could just be reading too much into this.

However it should be noted that there have been rumors to suggest that Apple’s iPads could be getting overhauled in terms of design. It is said that it could adopt a similar design to the iPhone X in which it will feature much thinner bezels (as it stands the iPad’s bezels are pretty thick), and that it could also come with Face ID.

However there was no mention if the new iPads could adopt OLED displays or continue to use LCDs, but we have a feeling that it could be the latter. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we’ll have more details soon.

‘Captain Marvel’ Set Photo Shows Off Brie Larson’s Costume

As many have probably heard by now, Marvel Studios will be launching a Captain Marvel movie starring Brie Larson. This was confirmed back in 2016 and for those curious as to how Larson will look like in costume as Captain Marvel, photos from the set of the movie have appeared online, giving us a glimpse as to what to expect.

For those who might not necessarily follow the comics closely, the costume that Larson is wearing looks different from what some would expect. In the image above, Captain Marvel sports a costume with blue, red, and gold finishes, but it is clear that in the set photos that the costume is green.

However some have pointed out that prior to her current costume that many are familiar with, the character used to don a green costume that belonged to the Kree (the original Captain Marvel was a Kree). Presumably this is the look that Marvel is going for in this movie, and it is safe to say that its sequels will most likely see her iconic blue, red, and gold costume being introduced.

That being said, in addition to having her own standalone Captain Marvel movie, Larson is also expected to make an appearance in the untitled Avengers 4 movie, both of which are currently scheduled for a release in 2019.
