Germany has already made its commitment to cleaner vehicles clear by banning combustion engine cars from 2030. Now, in a landmark ruling, a top court says cities have the right to ban diesel motors in an effort to improve air quality. The decision wi…
As you might have heard, the FCC’s repeal of the net neutrality rules in the US will be coming into effect starting 23rd April. For those who feel that all hope is lost, that is not necessarily true because Sen. Ed Markey has announced that he has introduced his Congressional Review Act “resolution of disapproval” that could potentially undo the FCC’s vote.
According to Markey, “The grassroots movement to reinstate net neutrality is growing by the day, and we will get that one more vote needed to pass my CRA resolution. I urge my Republican colleagues to join the overwhelming majority of Americans who support a free and open Internet. The Internet is for all—the students, teachers, innovators, hard-working families, small businesses, and activists, not just Verizon, Charter, AT&T, and Comcast and corporate interests.”
Sometime this spring, @SenateDems will force a vote on the CRA to save #NetNeutrality. With #OneMoreVote, we will pass it and the fight will move to the House where @USRepMikeDoyle‘s companion resolution has 150 co-sponsors.
We are so close, but now we must fight even harder.

As to why is this only being introduced now and not earlier, it was because they had to wait for the FCC’s repeal order to be published in the Federal Register before they could move forward. So far 50 out of 100 senators have publicly supported the resolution, but unfortunately this means that it is one vote shy of being passed through the Senate.
However even then should it make its way through, there is a chance that President Trump could veto the resolution. That being said regardless of the outcome, several states have announced plans to introduce their own net neutrality rules which companies need to adhere to if they want to operate in the state.

When Apple launched the Apple Watch, they managed to partner up with Nike where they also released the Apple Watch Nike+, which is essentially the Apple Watch with a special Nike band and some software features. It looks like Fitbit has since done the same, except with Nike’s competitor Adidas.
The company has officially announced the Fitbit Ionic: adidas Edition smartwatch. As the name implies, this is a collaboration between Fitbit and Adidas where for the most part, it is still the same Fitbit Ionic that was launched last year. However it will launch with a specially designed watch band that will exclusive to this particular edition. It will also come with a custom Adidas-designed clock face.
However it won’t be just a superficial change as the Fitbit Ionic: adidas Edition will also come with the adidas Train app that includes on-screen workouts that users can follow. The app will be exclusive to the smartwatch and according to Fitbit, “Each of the workouts are carefully constructed by a team of adidas performance experts with years of experience in movement-based training, and focus on foundational movements that have been found to help runners and athletes overall achieve their performance goals.”
In terms of pricing and availability, the Fitbit Ionic: adidas Edition will be available on the 19th of March where it will be priced at $329.95. Pre-orders are also currently being accepted via Fitbit’s website.

By now you’ve probably heard about Sea of Thieves. The game has been getting a lot of hype. It’s the latest title from renowned developer Rare and it’s also a highly anticipated Xbox One exclusive. That’s a big deal so, it’s no surprise that the game is getting its own launch day console bundle.
Microsoft has revealed a newSea of Thieves bundle that features a 1TB Xbox One S in a standard white console, instead of a themed console. That 1TB hard drive is a necessity today since games are so huge these days. You won’t run out of space for a little while, anyway. The bundle comes with a digital copy of Rare’s game, along with a one-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold. You’ll also get a month of Xbox Games Pass, which is Microsoft’s on-demand service that competes with PlayStation Now. And no you also are not getting the sweet Sea of Thieves controller with this bundle, but it’s still a good choice if you have not yet bought an XBox One S.
This new bundle will launch for $299.99 on March 20, which is the same day that Sea of Thieves comes out. You can pre-order the system now over on GameStop.
