YouTube is about to get a lot more annoying for music fans

YouTube plans to purposefully make the music video experience more frustrating, in the hope of infuriating heavy users to the point where they cough up for a paid subscription instead. The Google-owned site is, for many, the go-to place for music, with listeners often ignoring the video altogether. Unfortunately, that’s not especially helpful for YouTube’s bottom line. As a result, … Continue reading

Latest OnePlus 6 Leak Reveals Price And Specs

OnePlus fans are certainly looking forward to seeing what the company has up its sleeve. There have been bits and pieces of information concerning the OnePlus 6 but nothing substantial had surfaced until today. A new leak out of China on Weibo reveals some information about the OnePlus 6 specs and its price tag.

Previous rumors have suggested that the OnePlus 6 could have a notch up top and that has been reiterated by this leak. It merits mentioning here that Oppo’s latest handset also has a notch and OnePlus devices tend to be based off of that particular line given that both Oppo and OnePlus are owned by the same company.

According to the leak, the OnePlus 6 is going to feature a 6.2 inch display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The company might offer the device with 64GB and 128GB of storage as well.

To further cement its position as this year’s flagship killer, the OnePlus 6 might also feature a dual camera system at the back with one 12 megapixel sensor and a second 20 megapixel sensor. It hasn’t been confirmed so far how much the new handset is going to cost but the rumor mentions that the one with 256GB storage is going to be priced at $749.

None of the specs mentioned in this leak are outrageous so all of this is well within the realm of possibility. OnePlus is yet to confirm when it’s going to officially launch the OnePlus 6.

Justice League Is DC’s Least Successful Film

DC fans had big expectations from Justice League but the superhero team-up didn’t really meet them. The movie has completed its theatrical run and has officially become DC’s least successful movie ever. It merits mentioning here that Justice League had more than its fair share of problems during and even before production began. There was a change of director and even extensive reshoots which were meant to lighten up the movie’s tone.

The expectation was that Justice League would be able to match if not surpass the first Avengers movie that Marvel released in 2012. That movie brought together the biggest heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and subsequently became the most successful movie it had made so far.

Justice League has done the opposite, it has become DC’s least successful movie ever, finishing its theatrical run with a worldwide gross of $657.9 million. It’s below Man of Steel, the second least successful movie DC has ever made, and even that movie earned $668 million off of a $225 million budget compared to Justice League’s $300 million.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which was met with generally bad reactions from critics and fans alike, remains DC’s most successful movie so far with a worldwide gross of $876.3 million. Wonder Woman, launched to rave reviews and was generally well regarded, made $821.8 million.

On the other hand, Marvel continues to forge ahead with its Avengers franchise. It’s due to release Avengers: Infinity War on April 27th and it’s expected to be another major hit for the MCU.
