Marvel’s Doctor Strange was yet another hit movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and you would think that the company would be looking to launch a sequel. After all Black Panther’s sequel has already been confirmed, so what’s the deal with Doctor Strange 2? As it turns out even the movie’s star is unsure.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, actor Benedict Cumberbatch revealed that he’s just as clueless as everyone else when it comes to the sequel. When asked when the sequel might begin filming, Cumberbatch replied by saying, “Not at the moment, no. The masterplan is continually in flux, so it would be out of order for me to speculate.”
That isn’t to say that there won’t be a sequel because back in 2017, Marvel boss Kevin Feige revealed that they are interested in a sequel but it might be a while before that happens. Speaking to MovieWeb, Feige said, “Certainly, we would love to tell more about the Strange story [in a sequel]. Yes. It won’t be for a while. Our focus is on the next six movies. Finishing the first three phases, getting Untitled Avengers out into the world on May 19th before publicly focusing on anything else.”
That being said, Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange character will be returning to the big screen come 27th of April where he will be part of the Avengers: Infinity War ensemble.

Will they? Won’t they? That is the question that some gamers are trying to figure out because according to the rumors, Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch is in the works. However Blizzard seemed to have dashed the hopes of many when they said they had nothing to announce regarding Diablo on the Switch.
Despite the somewhat official stance, the rumors have persisted and now according to a listing on retailer Coolshop which is based in the UK, Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch has been spotted yet again. Now it is possible that Coolshop is simply listing the game based on the rumors and is trying to get ahead of the competition.
However we’re not sure if a retailer listing a game based on rumors is the smartest thing to do since the rumors could fall through and the retailer now has the reputation of being unreliable. As much as we would love to see Diablo 3 brought onto the Switch, the best thing we can do right now is wait for an official announcement, which we’re not sure if it will come.
That being said, having a Blizzard game on the Nintendo Switch would no doubt be a huge coup for Nintendo. Many had expected Hearthstone to be a good title to port onto the Switch, but perhaps the fact that gamers would have to be routed through Nintendo’s own online gaming service instead of Battle.net might be one of the reasons the game has yet to be ported.

Could Nintendo have an updated version of the Nintendo Switch in the works? That’s what seems to be speculated, based on datamining activity done by the folks at Switchbrew (via ResetEra; via MobileSyrup) which uncovered a possible hardware update codenamed “Mariko”. This is based on the 5.0.0 firmware update that was released about a week ago.
Based on their findings, they are speculating that the Nintendo Switch’s CPU, which is the Tegra 210, could be swapped out for the Tegra 214. Apparently this is because the Tegra 210 is vulnerable to hacking, so swapping it to the Tegra 214 should help prevent that from happening, at least based on current known exploits.
It has also been speculated that the Switch’s hardware refresh could also bump the amount of RAM up from 4GB to 8GB, essentially doubling it in the process. An earlier report from IGN states that it is possible that the refresh could simply be in preparation of new peripherals that could be launched in the future, although if more RAM is needed for these alleged peripherals, this essentially leaves early adopters of the Switch out which is probably not the best idea.
It should be pointed out that Nintendo had previously denied claims that they are working on Switch 2.0, but maybe the company doesn’t see these slight upgrades worthy of a “2.0” moniker. Nintendo had also previously stated that they plan to support the Switch for more than the traditional 5-6 year cycle.
