Guy Builds His Own Awesome LEGO Prosthetic Arm

David Aguilar was born with an underdeveloped right arm. But he didn’t let that stand in his way, and he built himself an awesome prosthetic replacement using LEGO Technic parts. He has put a ton of time into it. In fact, he spent the last decade refining the design.

It looks very different compared to most modern prosthetic arms, but it functions extremely well. It holds on very securely, and David can even grip things with it. The arm must be good because he even uses the arm while DJing under the name ‘Hand Solo’. How awesome is that?

I’ve included another video below so you can really see just how impressive this build is. And it takes an impressive mind to refine this prosthetic as much as David has really as done an awesome job on this arm. This is just further proof that you can do anything with LEGO and your imagination.

Entire ‘Myst’ Franchise To Be Re-Released On PC This Year

As far as PC games are concerned, Myst has to be one of the more classic, if not legendary titles around. Many a PC gamer from back in the day probably had at one point in time played it or owned it and over the years, we’ve seen it being re-released on other platforms like the Nintendo 3DS and Android.

Unsurprisingly given how old the game is, playing it on more modern computers isn’t exactly the most ideal situation, which is why developer Cyan Worlds has announced (via Game Informer) their plans to re-release the entire franchise on the PC later this year in celebration of the game’s 25th anniversary.

“Over the last few years we’ve been working to procure the rights to make all of the Myst games available. As an indie developer, resources are limited for development, and acquiring rights isn’t always an option. But we managed to finally talk to all the right people and departments and put some funding together to try to make it happen. With agreements in place, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be releasing updated (for Windows 10) versions of all the Myst games later this year!”

In addition to this, the developer also announced that there are plans to create a limited edition physical version of the game for collectors where it will come with a “cool artifact”. No word on a release date just yet, so we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled.

Fortnite Battle Royale For iOS Tops Charts In 13 Countries

It seems that Epic’s decision to bring Fortnite Battle Royale onto mobile devices was a great one as it seems to be extremely well-received. According to reports, it looks like the game has managed to top the charts in thirteen countries since its launch, and this is not even taking into consideration several factors.

One factor is that for now, the game is still invite-only which means that there are probably a ton more gamers out there who are waiting to get in. This is to prevent the servers from overloading which will probably not do anyone any favors. Second factor is the fact that this is iOS-only at the moment, which means that we can probably anticipate the same amount of excitement once the Android version of the game is ready.

Plus the fact that Fortnite Battle Royale supports cross-platform play against players on the PC and console (no cross-platform between Xbox One and PS4 unfortunately) means that mobile players will have a ton of opponents to face off against right out the door. So far reviews of the mobile version of Fortnite has been pretty good and the recent stream of the game by musician Drake has only served to help bring more spotlight onto the title.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for more details and metrics as time passes, and also for a possible release date for the Android version of the game. In the meantime those who want to play the game on iOS can sign up to be invited via Epic’s website.
