It’s been nearly a decade and yet there is still no end in sight. No, it’s not the Samsung vs. Apple patent circus, which seems to have mostly died down. Earlier today, Apple announced a brand new iPad. It’s has a 9.7-inch screen, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 10 hours of battery life, a front-facing FaceTime HD cam, an upgraded A10 Fusion chip plus support for Apple’s Pencil. But the main talking point…
Over the years we’ve seen Android handset makers experiment with a variety of screen sizes and screen resolutions, resulting in a bunch of different display aspect ratios. However the good news for those who spend a lot of time on YouTube is that it the platform’s dynamic video player feature is now available on Android.
For those unfamiliar with the feature, it debuted on iOS devices first where the player could automatically adjust itself to content in different aspect ratios. This means that regardless of how the video was captured or your device’s display size, the dynamic video player means that YouTube will try and cut out as much of the black bars as possible to give users a full screen experience.
🤖 Calling all Androids 🤖
Now the YouTube player will automatically adapt to the shape of the video you’re viewing, so you can see more of your favorite videos! pic.twitter.com/0Gk0hXav0I

As you can see in the tweet below by YouTube, this means that even if you were to scroll the video will expand and change its shape to fit your display accordingly. The feature rolled out for iOS devices last December and it looks like it has finally made its way onto Android. The changes should already be live so if you have YouTube on your Android phone, you can check it out for yourself. If you don’t see the changes already, not to worry as we expect it could possibly be rolled out in phases and it should get to you eventually.

Earlier today Apple announced a new, cheaper 9.7-inch iPad and if you’re thinking about getting your hands on it, you might be interested to learn that Logitech has since announced a couple of new accessories for the iPad, one of which is Logitech’s take on the Apple Pencil, and the other a rugged keyboard case for those who take their tablets on the go.
Starting with the stylus, Logitech is calling this the Logitech Crayon, which we guess given the shape and size does seem like it’s leaning towards that side. It is priced at $49 which is more or less half of what the Apple Pencil costs, and that it leverages the Apple Pencil technology when it comes to precision, low latency, and also offers tilt support. It will work with a bunch of different apps and also features an 8 hour battery life.
Next up is the Logitech Rugged Combo 2 case, which as you can see in the image above, has been designed to withstand a few bumps and knocks. It also comes with a cover that doubles as a keyboard. The keys have also been designed to be pry resistant which means that they’ll be hard to damage, and also been designed to be silent so students can hammer away at them and not worry about causing a racket.
According to the company, the case was designed with input from educators to withstand the rigors of daily use in the classroom. Pricing of the Logitech Rugged Combo 2 is at $99.99 and will be available via Apple’s Education website.

When Apple unveiled the iMac Pro, they introduced it in a space grey finish that helped to set it apart from the regular iMac. This included the chassis of the computer, the keyboard, mouse, and trackpad. Initially Apple did not sell these accessories separate from the iMac Pro, resulting in some opportunists who took to eBay where they sold these accessories for thousands.
The good news is that if you wanted the space grey keyboard, mouse, and/or trackpad, you’ll be pleased to learn that Apple has finally made these accessories available as standalone products. This means that you won’t have to fork out thousands of dollars for them, although given that Apple’s accessories were never cheap to begin with, you’d still have to shell out a fair amount for them.
The space grey Magic Keyboard (full-sized) will be priced at $149. The space grey version of the Magic Trackpad 2 will also be priced at $149, while the space grey Magic Mouse 2 will retail for $99. That being said apart from the color of these accessories, they will function exactly the same as their silver counterparts, but admittedly with a black/grey finish they do look rather sleek and spiffy.
They will all be available for purchase from the Apple Online Store so head on over if you’d like to get your hands on any of them.

It looks like the rumors and leaks surrounding the OnePlus 6 are starting to ramp up and now thanks to a post by Evan Blass, it looks like a possible image of the OnePlus 6 has surfaced where in the tweet below, you can get a look at the corner of the phone. What’s interesting is that the handset appears to have a textured back.
It’s hard to tell the rest of the phone’s design from this particular angle, but we suppose if there is one thing OnePlus fans can be reassured is that it looks like OnePlus will be keeping the 3.5mm headphone jack around. This is in spite of how more handset manufacturers these days are starting to ditch the port, so it’s good to see that OnePlus is still keeping it at least for one more model.
You’ve been **cough cough** good sports with this, so I suppose you do deserve /something/. Just remember: #yousawitherefirst pic.twitter.com/AWCHYZKJJE

As for the rest of the design, it has been speculated that the OnePlus 6 could feature a notched display which seems to be the trend these days. In fact there are some who speculate that the OnePlus 6 could end up looking like the Oppo R15. There is some precedence to this as some of OnePlus’ older handsets have borrowed from Oppo’s design.
The OnePlus 6 has also been rumored to be pretty expensive, at least more so than previous models as a recently leaked spec sheet has indicated that the phone could be priced starting at $749.

If you’ve enjoyed Beamdog’s Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition series, you might have heard that last year, the company announced that they would be giving the same treatment to Neverwinter Nights. The good news is that if you’ve been looking forward to it, you’ll be pleased to learn that the game is now available.
For those who prefer Steam as their platform of choice, the game will be available via Steam where it will be priced at $20. It will also be available via Beamdog’s website where it will also be priced similarly. The Enhanced Edition of the game will be more or less the same at its core to the original.
However it will also be bundled with the two expansions that have been released, along with three premium modules, access to the Aurora toolset that will let players create their own dungeons and monsters, along with the Dungeon Master client where players become the storyteller and host their own games.
Naturally there will be improved graphics over the original, which should be expected given how old the previous release was. There is also backwards compatibility meaning that if you’ve saved your old Neverwinter Nights games, you should be able to load them up just fine.
