New iPhone X Prices Might Start At $899

Apple isn’t due to unveil its new iPhones until the second half of this year but we have already heard countless reports and rumors about the upcoming devices. The latest comes from RBC Capital Markets analyst Amit Daryanani who predicts that the new iPhone X prices are going to start at $899. The iPhone X Plus, a larger model, is expected to command a $100 premium over its smaller sibling.

Daryanani’s bases his prediction on the argument that Apple has seen “limited success” with the iPhone X because of its $999 price point. It’s already the most expensive iPhone that Apple has ever sold and many other reports have also suggested that price might be a factor behind sluggish sales.

He feels that if Apple lowers the new iPhone X price by $100, it would help the company bring in more customers. Apple’s rumored 6.5 inch iPhone X Plus is predicted to cost $100 more which means that it will fill the $999 price point vacated by the 5.8 inch iPhone X.

Despite countless reports about the iPhone X’s performance in the market, Apple hasn’t really said whether or not sales of its new flagship have exceeded or failed to meet its expectations. Nevertheless, there have already been many reports about a price cut for next year’s iPhone X and this particular strategy would make sense for Apple is the company wanted to trim the margins for more sales. Whether or not this will actually happen won’t really be known for sure until the second half of this year.

Xbox Game Pass Gets Eight New Games Next Month

Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s Netflix-style subscription service for games, will be receiving eight new titles next month. The company had promised to continue adding new games to the service’s library in order to provide subscribers more bang for their buck. Microsoft has officially announced today that it’s going to be an action-packed update for Xbox Game Pass next month.

Robocraft Infinity, a popular multiplayer robot building and battling action game, is going to be added to Xbox Game Pass on April 11th. That’s the very same day that the game is released for the Xbox One. It’s going to be the first game to be published through Microsoft’s ID@Xbox program and join Xbox Game Pass on the same day.

Some subscribers might be disappointed, though, as no big first party is headed to Xbox Game Pass this month. Microsoft added Sea of Thieves to the library earlier this month and it also announced that first party exclusive titles will also be available on Xbox Game Pass the very same day that they’re released to the public.

The other titles making their way to the subscription service next month include Cities: Skylines, theHunter: Call of the Wild, Kingdom: New Lands, Portal Knights, ClusterTruck, Sacred Citadel, and Late Shift. They join the library which already contains more than 100 titles for Xbox One owners.

Microsoft Edge Released For iPad And Android Tablets

It was revealed not too long ago that Microsoft’s Edge browser would soon be released for the iPad and Android tablets. The company released a preview of Edge for iPad earlier this month. The brief beta testing period is now over as Microsoft has rolled out the latest updates for the Edge app on iOS and Android which brings full support for tablets on the platforms.

Microsoft released its Edge browser for iOS and Android in 2017. It brought over familiar features such as Reading View, New Tab Page, Reading List, and more. With support for Roaming Passwords across PC and mobile devices, users could easily pick up browsing where they left off regardless of the device they were using.

Edge for iPad and Android tablets also brings the same features. Favorites, including Roaming Favorites, are onboard as are Roaming Passwords. Other features such as New Tab Page and Reading View are present as well.

Microsoft Edge enables users to continue on their PC, which means that they can open a web page from their phone or tablet right on to their PC. There’s even an option for a dark theme for those who prefer it over the lighter option. iPad users should keep in mind, though, that Edge doesn’t support iOS 11 split screen so it can’t be used alongside another app just yet.

The updated Microsoft Edge apps for iOS and Android are available as a free download from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
