Bungie to release the full 'Destiny' soundtrack, three years late

Music of the Spheres, the much-lauded music from Destiny, will finally be released officially to the public “in the near future,” said developer Bungie. The soundtrack, written by acclaimed composer Marty O’Donnell, actually leaked out last year than…

PlayStation 5 Parts Production Reportedly Ramping Up

If the reports are to be believed, Sony’s PlayStation 5 is only expected to arrive in 2020 at the earliest. This means that if you’re hoping to see it this year or even next year, prepare to be disappointed. However it seems that production on some of the components for the PS5 could already have begun and might be ramping up.

This is according to a report from AnandTech who reports that TSMC will be kicking off production of chips using the 7nm process. This process is said to be used to manufacture a variety of components such as CPUs, GPUs, neural network processors, and more, which has led to some to speculate that this could somehow involve Sony and its PS5 console.

While it is more than likely that Sony would be using the latest technology to develop its next-gen console, we’re not sure if what TSMC has to offer now will be used 2-3 years later when presumably there will be newer, more powerful, and more efficient technology available then.

In any case this is speculation for now so take it with a grain of salt, but like we said multiple reports have pointed to a 2020 launch at the earliest and given that there are still quite a few triple-A titles in the works for the PS4 and PS4 Pro, we doubt that it would be replaced so soon.

New Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Trailer Released

The Tomb Raider franchise is a long and storied one, but in recent years it was rebooted to give the game a grittier feel which we reckon that they’ve managed to accomplish. However it seems that the game has taken its grittiness and darkness to the next level with the upcoming Shadow of the Tomb Raider in which the game’s latest trailer has been released.

For those unfamiliar, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be the next installment in the Tomb Raider franchise following the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider back in 2015. It will also be the third installment in the rebooted franchise. It is unclear if the rebooted franchise will just be a trilogy of Tomb Raider games or if there could be more in the works.

According to Square Enix, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will see Lara Croft attempt to save the world from a Mayan event apocalypse. In any case the new trailer looks pretty good and while it’s not in-game footage, it does a good job of hyping its release. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is currently set for a release on the 14th of September.

The various editions of the game have been announced along with a season pass that will contain additional content.

This Crazy Rube Goldberg Machine Is a Tape Dispenser

What if I told you that it takes a full five minutes to get a single piece of tape out of this insane Rube Goldberg machine? Hey, it’s about the journey, not the tape. At least that’s what I would keep telling myself if I had to wait on this machine to get said tape.

This overly complicated machine was built by Youtuber DaksDominos. It took him two months to put it together, and he had to get through 187 failed attempts before finally getting this video of a success. The amount of stuff happening on this machine is crazy. Remember, he had to set everything up again each time. That’s crazy. Isn’t this the definition of insanity? How does anyone have that much patience? Or maybe he just really needed a piece of tape that badly.

Anyway, you can watch the whole process right here without having to invest two months and 187 failed attempts. That’s the benefit of letting someone else do all of the work for you. It just goes to show you that with enough SOLO cups, ping pong balls, Hot Wheels tracks, and tape, you can do almost anything, as long as you don’t mind that it takes forever to do.

Apple’s big 2018 MacBook Air refresh just got some bad news

For the past few months, we’ve been hearing that Apple may look to launch a MacBook Air refresh at some point in 2018.
