Nokia X6 Might Now Be Launched Internationally As Well

When HMD Global officially announced the Nokia X6, its availability in international markets was questioned given that the handset was announced in China. A subsequent report from NPU later revealed that the handset could be exclusive to China, but now it looks like HMD might have had a change of heart.

In a tweet by HMD’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas, he conducted a poll on Twitter that basically gauged how interested customers were in seeing the Nokia X6 launch in other markets besides China. Based on the poll which involve 8,527 votes, it seems that a whopping 92% said that they would love to see the phone launch outside of China, while a meager 8% said no.

Now it is unclear if this is necessarily a guarantee that the X6 will launch outside of China, but according to a subsequent tweet by Sarvikas, he said that the “vote is conclusive”. At the very least we suppose HMD now knows that there is a huge interest in the handset launching outside of China, but whether or not they’ll actually do it remains to be seen.

It’s not surprising that there are many who have expressed interest in the Nokia X6. Its full screen design and sleek body is reminiscent of high-end smartphones from competing brands, but given mid-range specs, it also came with a mid-range price that was pretty decent for what you got, giving it the potential to be a value for money handset with an excellent design.

In any case only time will tell if HMD does indeed plan to launch it internationally, so if you were one of the hopefuls, keep your fingers crossed!

Fortnite Will Be Coming To Android This Summer

Earlier this year Epic Games announced that Fortnite Battle Royale would be making its way onto mobile. The game was launched on iOS devices first and its Android launch would be taking place later, but when exactly was later was anyone’s guess. However the good news is that we now have a timeframe.

According to a post on Epic’s website, they have announced that Fortnite would be coming to Android this summer. “Fortnite is coming to Android! We are targeting this summer for the release. We know many of you are excited for this release, and we promise that when we have more information to share, you’ll hear it from us first.”

Unfortunately no specific dates were shared, but we suppose at the very least the timeframe has since been narrowed down. Presumably it should be the same experience as the one on iOS, and given that the post on Epic’s website also contains some of the changes and improvements that they’ll be making to the game, the version on Android should be a rather polished one.

So far Fortnite has reportedly managed to earn a whopping $25 million on iOS so far, so we can imagine that it should be able to pull just as much, if not more, when it eventually makes its way onto Android.

FDA Approves First Drug That Helps Prevent Migraines

Migraines are more than just your typical headache and can get to the point where it prevents the person from doing anything for the rest of the day, or even days in some cases. There are several treatments available in the market, but they are not always effective. However the good news for migraine sufferers is that there is a new drug on the market that seems promising.

The FDA has recently announced that they have approved the sale of what can be described as the first FDA-approved preventive migraine drug called Aimovig. This is a drug that blocks the activity of calcitonin gene-related peptide, which is a molecule that is involved when it comes to migraine attacks.

So far based on the clinical tests that have been conducted, it seems that Aimovig has the ability to reduce the number of migraines occurring a month by 1-2 days, which is said to be a reduction of roughly 50%. It is not a cure but for those who do suffer from the occasional migraine, suffering 1-2 fewer migraine attacks every month is no doubt very much welcome.

Aimovig comes in form of a pen similar to an insulin pen where patients will be able to administer it themselves. However it will not come cheap and is expected to cost $575 a month, or $6,900 a year for those without insurance.

Fortnite For iOS To Get Customizable HUD & Voice Chat

If you’ve been enjoying Fortnite Battle Royale on iOS and you think that the game could stand to be improved upon, you’re in luck. The folks at Epic Games have recently announced that there will be some changes and new features that they’ll be making to the game, namely a customizable HUD and voice chat.

A customizable HUD is something that apparently players in the game have been asking for for a while now. We suppose it’s not surprising since many games out there do allow gamers to customize it to the way they want it to look and work, so now it looks like Fortnite gamers on iOS have their wish come true.

There will also be the addition of voice chat, which when playing team-based games is no doubt an important one. “We know that communication is key when you’re squadding up for that Victory Royale, so we’re working to bring voice chat to mobile. On top of that, you’ll be able to chat with your teammates regardless of platform!”

According to Epic, “We’re also looking to make it really easy to mute yourself, other players, or open up all communications with a simple tap. There will be a button on the screen that lets you mute yourself, mute everyone in your party, or go back to open-microphone.” The customizable HUD feature should already be live, while voice chat appears to be coming at a later date. Presumably these features should also make its way onto the Android version which is due for a release this summer.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date To Be Revealed Next Month

One of the more anticipated games that many are looking forward to is Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts 3. We’ve seen several trailers, seen some screenshots, so the big question is, when will the game be officially released? Square Enix has been pretty mum on that, but it seems that we might know for sure next month.

This is according to a report from Eurogamer who recently managed to get a hands-on session with the game and where they spoke to some of the developers behind it. They also quote the game’s producer Tetsuya Nomura who indicated that a release date for the game should be revealed next month just before E3.

According to Nomura, “Kingdom Hearts 3 is a title with many people working on it, so we are making final adjustments, but we are pretty firm on a certain date so we hope to reveal it next month.” The good news is that it appears that a 2018 release date is still very much on the cards, so that much gamers can take reassurance in.

In any case we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information on when the game will be released, but as Eurogamer speculates, it seems that a November release is rather likely.

Multiple Endings For HBO’s Game Of Thrones Is Being Filmed

Considering how many twists and surprises there are in HBO’s Game of Thrones, safe to say that fans of the series avoid spoilers like the plague. However sometimes these spoilers might come directly from the stars of the show themselves, mostly by accident, and so to keep a tight lid on things, it appears that the show’s creators have filmed multiple endings to prevent that.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Emilia Clarke who is probably best known as Daenerys Targaryen on the show, revealed that even the cast is kept in the dark as to what the creators have planned for it. When asked how the show will end, Clarke insisted in all seriousness that she doesn’t know.

“I don’t know that I even do now. I’m being serious. I think they’re filming a bunch of stuff and they’re not telling us. I’m being serious. I’m being deadly serious. I think that they don’t even trust us.” She also adds that multiple endings are being filmed to prevent them from knowing. “There’s lots of different endings that could happen; I think we’re doing all of them and we aren’t being told which is actually what’s going to happen.”

We’ve already heard how HBO has taken some measures to prevent leaks, and now it looks like the show’s creators are doing everything they can to prevent that as well. The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is currently set for a release in 2019.
