Over the years, Shenmue fans have proven they’re nothing if not patient. It’s been a long, long time since Shenmue 2 was released for the Sega Dreamcast, of all things, which means the wait for Shenmue 3 is quickly closing in on a whopping 17 years. Unfortunately, the wait got a little longer today, as Deep Silver has delayed Shenmue … Continue reading

Following Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods, it did not come as a surprise that there were reports suggesting that Prime members would be getting some perks if they were to shop at the grocery store. There was even a sighting last month that suggested that Amazon would be giving Prime members a 10% discount.
Now it looks like those photos were right on the money as Amazon has since announced that Prime members will get some perks while shopping at Whole Foods. This comes in the form of a 10% while shopping at Whole Foods along with weekly “deep discounts” on select best-selling items.
However it seems that these discounts/perks will only be available to those who are living in Florida, so if you’re not a Florida resident then we guess you’ll be missing out on this for now. However we expect that Amazon will most probably extend these discounts to other Whole Food outlets in the future, but no word on when that might be.
According to John Mackey, Co-founder and CEO of Whole Foods Market, “We’re thrilled for Whole Foods Market to be part of the Prime experience. By offering greater discounts on sale items, and exclusive deals like $10 off a pound for sustainably-sourced, wild-caught halibut, launching savings for Prime members is an amazing opportunity to bring our industry-leading quality standards and delicious food to more customers at a better price.”
