Logitech Unveils G305 Wireless Gaming Mouse

Slap the term “gaming” to any accessory whether it be monitors, speakers, microphones, keyboards, and/or mice, and you will instantly see an increase in price over the “regular” version. However not all gaming peripherals need to cost an arm and a leg, as evidence by Logitech with the launch of the G305 wireless gaming mouse.

The G305 is Logitech’s latest offering as far as gaming mice is concerned, but it comes pretty affordably priced. At $60 the G305 makes it more accessible to the masses, but just because it is cheaper doesn’t mean that Logitech has skimped on features. One of the highlight features of the G305 is that it will use the HERO optical sensor that Logitech typically reserves for its higher-end offerings.

According to Logitech, “HERO is incredibly power efficient, and provides exceptional responsiveness and accuracy, 400 IPS precision and sensitivity up to 12,000 DPI, with no acceleration or smoothing.” The mouse will also feature wireless connectivity using Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED technology and promises 250 hours worth of gameplay.

However given that the G305 is cheaper than other gaming mice, there will be some concessions, such as it featuring less programmable buttons compared to other more expensive mice. It also lacks certain customizable options, such as adjusting the weight of the mouse, but if you’re not fussed about all of that, then the G305 could be worth checking out when it is released later this month.

Sony Confirms They Are Ending Production Of Physical PS Vita Games

The Sony PS Vita handheld console is a bit long in the tooth now and with no public plans to launch a successor, it seems like the console is a few steps shy from being discontinued completely. In fact it seems that Sony is taking steps towards that as the company has confirmed that they are ending the physical production of PS Vita games.

This is according to a report from Kotaku in which they obtained a message sent by Sony to developers in which they announce their “plan to end all Vita GameCard production by close of fiscal year 2018.” Sony has since confirmed to the publication that this is indeed true. However note that this only applies to the physical copies of games, and not the Vita system in general.

This means that developers are more than welcome to keep developing games for the platform, just that they probably shouldn’t expect to see a physical release of their games anymore. For those who prefer physical copies of games we suppose this is a bit of a bummer, but for those who aren’t too fussed, there will be the digital version you can check out.

It is still unclear as to what will become of the PS Vita, but like we said all of this seems to point towards Sony potentially discontinuing the console in the future.

Marvel’s Next Movie Franchise Could Be ‘The Eternals’

With 2019 closing the story on the current Avengers, we’re sure that Marvel is looking for its next major franchise, and it seems that they might have found it. According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel is moving ahead with the development on a new movie based on “The Eternals” by Jack Kirby. The movie will reportedly be written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.

For those unfamiliar with the Eternals, they are based on comics created by Jack Kirby on a race of beings who were humans that were experimented on by cosmic being known as the Celestials. This resulted in two different races, the Eternals who are generally viewed as the good guys, and the Deviants who are typically seen as the bad guys. Fun fact: Thanos was born to Eternals but carriers the Deviant gene, which explains why he looks the way he does.

It is unclear as to what the movie could be about and how faithfully it might follow the comics, but there was a line uttered by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War that could be something worth exploring should the movie come to fruition. Marvel’s future plans for the MCU are a bit murky at this point in time.

We know that there are several sequels planned for existing movies, such as Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man, but beyond that it is unclear what Marvel’s next step could be. However the company has stated that they will reveal plans for phase 4 come 2019 where presumably they could be waiting to see if Disney’s acquisition of Fox (and subsequently the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool) is successful.
