Trailer For ‘The Predator (2018)’ Movie Released

The Predator movie franchise dates back many, many years ago and it is still a beloved franchise even today. Now we’ve seen the Aliens franchise get the reboot in more recent times, and now it looks like it could be Predator’s turn, and for those curious a new teaser trailer for the upcoming movie has been released.

According to the trailer’s description, “From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.”

The movie will be directed by Shane Black, who for those unfamiliar also directed Marvel’s Iron Man 3. From what we can tell, this new Predator movie certainly doesn’t seem like the older versions and offers up a more modern take on the franchise. Whether or not this is a good or bad thing remains to be seen.

The movie is set for a release on the 14th of September, 2018 and will star the likes of Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Yvonne Strahovski.

One of those companies that was warned by the FTC is Sony and the good news is that the company has been quick to comply with the warnings.

According to reports, it appears that Sony has recently updated its warranty policies to comply with the law. YouTube Brings HDR Video Support To The iPhone X

If you’re someone who watches a lot of YouTube on their phone, you might be pleased to learn that YouTube has been rolling out support for HDR support for the iPhone X. This is according to reports from the MacRumors forum and Reddit (via MacRumors) in which users are reporting see the feature.

For those unfamiliar with HDR, it stands for High Dynamic Range. This is actually a photography technique that combines photos with different exposures to create a single photo that looks completely out of this world. That technique has been applied to video as well and in recent years we’ve seen seeing TVs with support for HDR.

With YouTube now supporting HDR on the iPhone, it means that iPhone X users will be able to enjoy those contrasty colors that Android users have been enjoying for a while now. At the moment it seems that this is only applicable to the iPhone X as far as iPhones are concerned. As MacRumors points out, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus do support HDR but they are a different breed compared to the iPhone X’s Super Retina HDR, so the experience will be different if and when support does arrive.

In the meantime iPhone X users can probably keep an eye out for this new feature by launching the YouTube app.
