Fortnite players will be happy to know that Thanos will be in Fortnite for a limited time. The game’s developer Epic Games and Marvel have confirmed that this crossover is happening very, very soon.
It was confirmed to EW that the villain of Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos, is going to be available in the popular battle royale title Fortnite for a limited time starting tomorrow, May 8th.
It’s called the “Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup” mode for battle royale. The objective remains the same. One hundred players are let loose in the map and they have to fight it out until there’s only one left. It’s the trinket that has all of the six Infinity Stones which Thanos uses to wreak havoc in the movie. The player who finds the Infinity Gauntlet will be transformed into Thanos and will be able to use all of the power that comes with it.
It’s unclear for how long this mode is going to be available but it has been confirmed that the Infinity Gauntlet mode will be free on all platforms where the battle royale mode is available, this includes PC, Mac, Xbox, PlayStation 4, and iOS.
