Gameloft Launches Dungeon Hunter Champions

MOBA titles on mobile devices are extremely popular these days, so it’s not surprising that Gameloft is getting in on the action by announcing the release of Dungeon Hunter Champions.  For those unfamiliar, Dungeon Hunter is an RPG franchise by Gameloft which has spawned several titles on mobile.

However with the latest launch, it seems that Gameloft is hoping to capitalize on the MOBA trend. Dungeon Hunter Champions will still be an action RPG at its core where players will be able to play through a campaign like they did in previous Dungeon Hunter titles. There will also be raid bosses which makes it feel like Gameloft is trying to combine an MMORPG with a MOBA.

However there will also be a PVP mode where there will be 5v5 battles, similar to some of the other MOBAs we’ve seen to date. As for pricing, Dungeon Hunter Champions will be free-to-play but as is with the case of most mobile games these days, there will be microtransactions, with the cheapest priced at $4.99 for a sack of gems, and going up to $99.99 for the Legendary Pack.

In any case the game is already live and available so if you’re an iOS user, you’ll be able to download it via the iTunes App Store while Android users can find it on Google Play.

OnePlus 6 Specs Revealed In TENAA Listing

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 6 is expected to be officially announced on the 16th of May. This means that we have about 2 weeks before the big reveal, but the leaks have not stopped with the latest one being from TENAA (China’s version of the FCC) in which the specs of the phone have been revealed.

This is according to a post on Slashleaks by user DIMITRI12 where based on the listing, the OnePlus 6 will feature a 6.28-inch 2280×1080 display. It will also be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.45GHz, 6GB of RAM, a 16MP front-facing camera, a 20+16MP rear-facing dual camera setup, 64GB of onboard storage, a 3,300mAh battery, and Android 8.1 Oreo preinstalled.

There is no mention of who will be the maker of the processor, but given that this is a flagship phone and OnePlus has worked with Qualcomm in the past for its previous phones, chances are we are looking at the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 which is more or less the default chipset for flagship handsets.

In any case we will have all the official details in the next couple of weeks, but in the meantime if the leaked photos and specs are to be believed, the OnePlus 6 is shaping up to be a pretty good handset.

Celebrate May the 4th with a Porg-ish Hen Dinner

I’m just going to say it, I didn’t care for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I feel like the franchise has lost the magic that made it such an integral part of my childhood. Still, it has some cute parts, not the part where Luke milks that creature’s teat and drinks from it, mind you. On the other hand, those little porgs were pretty cute. Today being May the 4th (be with you) aka Star Wars Day, you might want some themed edibles. This recipe over on The Gluttonous Geek is inspired by those cute little bird critters from the movie.

Fortunately, no actual porgs were harmed in the making of this dish. It’s actually a Cornish game hen marinated in green milk, made partially from pistachio pudding mix. It is said to tenderize the meat and leave a sweet, nutty flavor behind.

To enjoy this dish tonight, you have to be willing to eat green pudding and small birds off the bone. I’m not a meat on the bone person personally, but this might be right up your alley. Get the full recipe here.
