If you have been interested in picking up the LG V30S ThinQ then today is your lucky day. The handset is finally available for purchase in the United States today, you can head over and pre-order a unit right now. The V30S ThinQ is the revamped versions of the V30 that LG launched at the Mobile World Congress back in February this year.
While it may not look all that different compared to the original handset, the LG V30S ThinQ does come with some minor tweaks. For example, it has 128GB of internal storage instead of 64GB and the RAM has been bumped up to 6GB from 4GB. The other specs which include the Snapdragon 835 chip from Qualcomm, dual camera, 6 inch 1440p OLED display, and more all remain the same.
There are some new software features as well. The AI camera features enable the handset to identify objects and even suggest filters but the features don’t really need additional hardware over and above what the standard V30 already has to function.
The LG V30S ThinQ is now listed for pre-order at B&H for $929.99. That’s quite a price tag for this device considering the fact that the original V30 is now selling for under $700. The price tag is for the carrier-unlocked variant of this device which can be used on both GSM and CDMA networks.
