AT&T’s New WatchTV Streaming Service Costs $15 Per Month

AT&T already has a standalone online TV streaming service called DirecTV and today it’s launching another one merely days after completing its acquisition of Time Warner. The new service is called WatchTV and it has been launched at an aggressive price point of $15 per month. The service comes with 31 channels at launch and will get 6 networks from Viacom in the near future, according to AT&T.

WatchTV obviously includes many Time Warner networks such as Cartoon Network, CNN, TBS, TCM, and TNT. Other networks such as HGTV and AMC are included as well. Aside from the 30+ live channels that the service offers, it also includes more than 15,000 TV shows and movies on-demand.

The service will be available through the WatchTV app free for subscribers on its AT&T Unlimited &More and AT&T Unlimited &More Premium plans. It’s also going to be available on its own for $15 per month which is cheaper than the $20 per month that Dish charges for Sling TV.

WatchTV is going to be “compatible on virtually every current smartphone, tablet, or web browser,” AT&T says, adding that it will also be compatible with some streaming devices. It hasn’t specified those devices as yet but will likely do so in the coming days.

Devil May Cry 5 Development Reportedly 75% Complete

It was first reported several months ago that Devil May Cry 5 may be announced officially in the not too distant future. Those reports turned out to be true when Devil May Cry 5 was officially announced at E3 2018 earlier this month. A confirmed release date has not yet been provided but Capcom is aiming for a release before March 2019. A new report claims that Devil May Cry 5 development is now 75 percent complete.

This is certainly good news for fans of this franchise who have been waiting for a long time for Capcom to launch a completely new Devil May Cry title. The report in the latest issue of Famitsu that development work on Devil May Cry 5 is 75 percent complete is a good sign as it suggests that Capcom may not have to delay the game.

It also provide some story details as well. The villain in this game will be the strongest that Nero and Dante have ever faced and that mysterious things have been happening in the Demon World. Nero is said to be on the hunt to reclaim something he has lost but it’s unclear if what he seeks is Kyrie, his Demon Arm, or something else.

Famitsu mentioned in its report that more information about Devil May Cry 5 will be available over the summer. Devil May Cry 5 director Hideaki Itsuno and producers Michiteru Okabe and Matthew Walker also confirmed recently that a playable Devil May Cry 5 demo is in development for the public which should be ready in a couple of months.
